Is 5'3'' short for a girl ?

Hi,

I just wanted to know if 5'3'' is short for a girl. I have been asked out on a date ( via match.com ) I know im only 5'9'' but have never been out with anyone that is shorter than me.

I suppose with heels she will be my height, wont she ?

My hubby is about 5'9"/5'10"ish. I am 5'7" and I am considered tall, so no, she's not short.
Short is like 4 1/2 feet tall, or 5 feet tall.

I'm sure you can do the math but that's a diff of 6 inches! that's about 15cm. Erm I'm sure there are heels that high

BUT why are you so worried about such a height diff? If you like her for herself, it shouldn't matter that much if she's well somewhat not as tall as you are, unless you are that superficial.

Moreover, it may not be a small height diff but 5'3 -that's pretty normal for a girl. Lotsa beautiful woman and famous actresses n singers are shorter than that: e.g. Shakira, Cristina Aguilera, Reese Witherspoon, etc. I would really agree with you if you are like 6'5 and she's 5'1. But hey it's just a date anyway, you are not marrying her yet (if you are like worried about short genes), just go out and have fun yea?

Height shouldnt be a problem for you. I am almost 6 foot so its pretty hard to get someone that is taller than me so I am a little biased, but really if she is a match then look past the height.

You know what they say anyway, good things some in small packages and that is very often with the smaller women, trust me!

5'3" is the cut-off point 4 most clothes shops petite range. So, she is 'technically' short, but at the top end of short.
Personally, I like my men 2 b taller than me.

Its classed as small, but i would have thought for any guy that would have been a good thing. As a girl I like guys to be taller than me (not that thats dificult, im only 5'1")

Well if she's 5'3" tall amd 5'3" wide, then u got a problem. Otherwise, short girls are great. In the standing, bent over position, you might have to bend your knees a bit, but its not that bad. If you are FAT, then her on top, with those short legs, is gonna be tough. Hopefully she is very thin and short. You can toss her around a bit. Slap her around a little. Good luck.
