The simple answer is, although people like to think they are not predjudice or anythnig, they have trouble making friendships with disabled persons.

Dont give up buddy, theres someone out there for everyone.

They may just be nervous - if they don't know much about your disabilities and what you can and can't do, they're probably pretty scared about it all... maybe if you see someone you're interested in, rather than just asking them out try and spend a good lot of time as friends - hanging out, getting to know eachother - & that way they can know a heap more about you and your personality and stuff before the relationship moves on to the next step...? Sorry if it's not much help! It was just a thought. Good luck - am sure you'll find the right person out there! Keep goin :)

You know I have never been asked out by someone with a physical disability. But if I were single and was asked...I would consider it.
There is a guy who shops at the store I work at ...he's in a wheelchair..he can't move from the waist down. He's young and very attractive...I would go out with him If I was single and he asked me out!!
There is somebody for everybody...don't worry about it too much and somebody will come along when you least expect it!

Maybe they can't handle being with a disabled person, or can't picture a future with them. However they should turn you down in a polite way. Try asking other people out who won't mind that your disabled. People who are more used to others with disabilities won't mind. Just ask the right people.

Awwww.....I didn't know that. Well if it helps any, I personally would treat a disabled person the same way I would another person. It's a shame. I'm sure that you'll find somebody. You defiantly will if there are more people like me. Hopefully there are because I'm going to be a very lonely person if there aren't due to my high standards. (None of which are physical.)

The simple answer is because they are morons, I am in a wheel chair because of spina bifida, I am not an ugly guy but girls look at me like I'm a freak.

Most ladies now look for hot and cute guys, even if they are not brainy. Not saying that you are not, though. Often, ladies don't appreciate just how cute smart guys can be, even if they not handsome or have a big physique.
