I have a dog I rescued and he keeps peeing on my desk.I can't leave him without supervision in my house or he makes a beeline for the desk and marks it.I've tried "urine be gone" from local pet store and I am at wits end trying to save the dog and the desk ,too.Is there anything else I can do try using to rid the odor?

If it's in your carpet, try Baking Soda...sprinkle it on "the spot" and let it sit for about 20 min. Then vacuum it up. Works great for anything, It's a mild abrasive too....so it works well cleaning out a crate, or cage or litter box. It kinda "scrubs" the smell out..it's a neutralizer. See if this helps. I know I vacuum with it at LEAST once a week to keep the dog and cigarette smell out of the house. You can also put a little in with your laundry soap to neutralize odors. like if you need to wash the dogs blankets or bath towels.

Try using Vinegar water. Dogs do not like the smell of vinegar... (neither do I...lol) I used about 1/4 cup diluted in a 12oz spray bottle. It might smell kinda funny for a while but it really neutralizes the odor and discontinues the dogs from peeing on the area. To eliminatethe smell of the vinegar from the air I just used my favorite air freshner. good luck... I went through the same thing with our baby Silky Terrier. The vinegar worked for us

I use a spray bottle with 1/2 white vinegar to 1/2 water. First I go over the pee with Spot Shot to get the stain and then the vinegar solution to neutralize the smell.

Dog urine is the worst smell in the world and it is almost impossible to get rid of. I suggest you throw that desk away and that will solve the whole problem. No more Dog pee and no more smell. ;)

I have used club soda for cat urine. It really helped. I would wet a clothe with it and wipe down your desk several times with it. Hope this helps.
