that is your own personal struggle that only you can overcome or strengthen. you have to decide what seems right to you or how you want to pursue your faith. if you want you can ask "god" to answer your prayer.
i use to be a devoted christian and doubted my faith because i felt that the church and the teachings were currupt and not "holy" as they claimed to be. i also struggled with this type of issue. today, im just a happy atheist.
good luck to you.

Establish a personal relationship with Jesus. Jesus said you must be born the second time (john chapter 3) without which you are missing it! Religion only goes so far and leaves one very dry; you need Jesus not religion. Then begin to talk to Him in secret and ask Him for stuff just as a child would his father, and allow Him to begin manifesting His reality to you. Read the Bible every day and that will help you to know the mind of God. As you get to know Jesus, your faith will grow as will the joy of believing.

When I was a child, I spake as a child. Now I am a man I see through a glass darkly. This is from the bible. We all go through stages in our faith and what scared us as children, does not now. Faith is the evidence of things not yet see, but believed. Jesus said "blessed are you that have believed and yet not seen" we walk by faith and because you are seeking then you are also believing in God's plan for you. Prayer and supplication are the doors to God's bounty.

My friend, I love that avatar!!! Conan is a cool fellow!!! ((Love that string dance!!!))
The best way to strengthen your faith is to read the word...and pray every day.....
Consider, my friend... When you are in love with someone, how do you keep their memory alive when they are away from you.... Some, read their love's letters, some consider the scent on a piece of cloth, some call their love, no matter how far..... .and some travel with them whereever they may go.... If only to be close enough.. to never forget...... that they will do.......
So, I say, pray.... and if your prayers be earnest and from the heart, the HolySpirit will manifest within you.... .and never leave you.....
be faithful always.....
your sister,
Ginger

"Fear not, for I am with you. Do not be dismayed. I am your God. I will strengthen you; I will help you; I will uphold you with My victorious right hand." (Isaiah 41:10)
"Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus." (Philippians 4:6-7)

faith is what we offer. awareness is what we acquire for the religion we've given. What, you ask, strengthens faith? awareness. And what enriches awareness? faith. you have asked a maximum wondrous question. I dare say you have journeyed some distance. save up the large paintings! ;-) reward

Think about God.
Only God, Unique God, without partner.
Only Creator of universes, without sharing authority.
Only provider, and only sustainer.
Only God is savior of every thing.
All creations are depending to Almighty God.
Follow teachings of Prophets Abraham, Moses, Jesus, and Muhammad(pbu.them all).
Ask for help from God, He will listen you Insha Allah.

In as much as faith is nothing but the excuse for ignorance, why would you want more of it? Maybe, you are of the belief that if ignorance is bliss, you, as a christian, may end up having never-ending explosive orgasms, in which case I can at least understand your goal.
