Butterscotch Apple Crumb Pie

Yield: 6 servings

1 1/2 tsp lemon juice
4 c pared,sliced tart apples
1/2 c Sugar
1/4 c all-purpose flour
1 tsp cinnamon
1/8 tsp salt
1 ea 9" unbaked pie shell

----------topping-----------

1 pk 6 oz. butterscotch chips
1/4 c butter
3/4 c all-purpose flour
1/8 tsp salt

Preheat oven to 375 degrees.In large bowl,combine lemon juice and
apples;toss until well coated.Stir in sugar,flour,cinnamon and salt;mix
well.Turn into 9" unbaked pie shell.Cover edges with aluminum foil.Bake @
375 degrees for 20 minutes. TOPPING: Melt over hot (not boiling water,Nestle
Butterscotch Flavored Morsels and butter;stir until smooth.Remove from
heat;stir in flour and salt.Blend until mixture forms large crumbs.Remove
foil from pie.Crumb mixture over top of hot apples.Bake @ 375 degrees 25
minutes longer.

It sounds like you are new to baking. I would suggest, then, using a store bought pie crust dough (or even a graham cracker crust--readily avail in your grocery store) and fill it with store bought apple filling or cherry filling. If using the graham crust, just top it with whipped cream before serving. If you are using a pie dough crust, put it into a pie pan,fill it with the filling, top it with the top crust,crimp the edges, sprinkle with sugar and bake. If using fresh/real apples,peel and slice very thinly. Use about 4-6 cups with 1 cup sugar,1 Tb cinnamon a Tbsl flour. Mix all together and pour into crust. Dot with some butter, top it with the crust, crimp, dust with sugar and bake 350 for abt 45 mins. It's easy and fun to do. Happy Baking!

and another recipe for you to make for a dessert is called a"hershey pie" is is really easy to make too... You need 6 bars of hershey's w/almonds,1 12oz of cool whip and a graham cracker crust.. Take the 6 candy bars and melt them on the stove in a sauce pan . once the candy bars have melted then take it off of the stove then fold in your cool whip until it is mix together real good and then put in the crust . and then put in the freezer overnight. then you have a nice cool dessert to have for everyone to eat.. i have to make at least 3 or 4 each year for the holidays

Simple, Easy and Delicious,
Strawberry pie
One quart strawberries, washed , leaves removed, and sliced
in mixing bowl combine
one can sweetened condensed milk (not cream_)
one forth cup lemon juice the bottled kind is fine
stir in berries and one tub cool whip
pour into graham cracker crust, chill and serve , best strawberry pie ive eaten. dont over mix after adding the cool whip just till blended fold in gentle dont beat.

Shell:
1 cup flour
1 stick butter
1 cup chopped pecans

Bottom Layer:
1 cup whipped topping
1 pkg. (8 oz.) cream cheese
1 cup powdered sugar

Middle Layer:
1 pkg. (sm.) vanilla instant pudding
1 pkg. (sm.) chocolate instant pudding
3 cups milk

Top Layer:
Whipped topping
Chopped pecans (optional)
Shredded chocolate bar (optional)
Directions:
Melt butter, mix with flour and pecans. Pat into a 9x13-inch pan. Bake 20 minutes at 350°F. Remove and let cool. Mix whipped topping, cream cheese and powedered suger with mixer and layer over above. Mix puddings and milk and layer over above. Cover last layer with whipped topping. Sprinkle with chopped pecans or shredded chocolate bar. Keep cool in refrigerator.
