i know you are not allowed to smoke tobacco but is a bit of weed ok...does anyone know from a medical point of view...

I wouldn't trust any answer anyone could give you here.

It's MUCH better to be safe and not do it.

I'm by no means against smoking marijuana.. just in this case.

they both interfere with your nervous system. To be safe you shouldnt smoke weed before anasthesia i think. like weed and alcohol make alcohol effect bigger right. lets say if weed made anasthesia less effective and you feel intense pain during this surgery it would not be so pretty.

Golly why on earth would you want to risk complications so close to a procedure, obviously your hooked.
It's your body but why waste Doctors time when you know your going to smoke a joint anyway...
The complications can be catastrophic and endanger your well being so by all means if you want to live on the edge..Go for it..
What if you have seizure or even stroke whilst anaesthetised would it have been worth that last joint..I think Not????

I can not be certain so err on the side of caution and don't do it because noone really knows what the result will be

absolutely no!!!! it will effect you in many more ways than you think. for example your initial vitals may be altered which can have a direct effect on the dosage they give you.
