It is also famous for its Mayday "Obby Oss" celebration where Morris Men and men dressed as horses parade the main street.

Padstow is best known for the annual “'Obby 'Oss” festival and “Darkie Days”—but was also one of St. Petroc's primary missionary centers in Cornwall. I regret I have not been there before, but I hope my little answer is of some help to you.
