There are alot of prejudice people in this world; it's always been that way. But we are a separate country from Mexico so we must have laws and they must abide by them. If we'd go to someone else's country, we'd have to abide by their laws. I totally agree that what the "white" people did to the Native Americans was terribly wrong.

First off, there are now laws in this country that state about who can enter and who can't and how people can become citizens. EVERY country has them, including Mexico. In fact, an immigrant to Mexico has a much harder time, even if they are legal. Go look up their immigration laws. Then if you are illegal there, ANY citizen can turn you in for a reward and you will enjoy the hospitality of Mexican jails, which to my understanding is not very nice.. I mean , no color TV!!! As far as the original European settlers, they were welcomed onto the land, but they screwed up. However, there were no laws at that time and that was the way things were done. Even in Mexico. Look at the history of the Aztecs... talk about bloodthirsty people!
These innocent people are criminals as soon as they cross the border without going through proper channels. I have no problems with them wanting a better life. Yet most are not here to improve their life. Otherwise they would learn English, work on getting citizenship, and come across as a legal immigrant. No, all they want is the money they make here to send back to Mexico. If not for the billions they send to Mexico, that country's economy would probably fold. They should instead stay in their country and work to improve the conditions there. If more people would support the farmers, then the farmers would not have to stand naked in the squares to bring attention to their plight, the teachers would not have to riot and have the miltia sent in to quell the riot. Mexico needs to cut out the rot that is consuming it. The illegals coming here should stay there and help to change their country for the better and not change ours to match theirs.

The US federal government is persecuting illegal immigrants because they broke the law, the immigrants did not follow proper procedures to get here therefore they are being deported.
You speak Spanish which was a language brought over by the European foreigniers, these Spaniiards forced the natives off the land or they enslaved them.
Modern times need secure borders not some imaginary line in the sand.

I will admit that what we did to the Native Americans is wrong. However, our ancestors came to this country and made laws - there were no laws at that time. Everybody who comes to the US must follow these laws..
Illegals are taking jobs away from Americans;
not paying taxes;
raising health care costs for us because illegals don't pay;
forcing schools, police, hospitals and businesses to teach their employees Spanish because illegals don't even bother to try to learn English;
bringing house values down;
increasing crime rate;
list goes on and on
We have no problem with people coming to this country to get a better life, millions of immigrants have. However, they did it the PROPER way: they adapted to the American way of life, learned to speak English and became US CItizens. Why can't you???

If you paid closer attention, you would realize that your president is Pro-illegal immigration.
Allowing anyone and everyone into the country freely is only going to decrease the standard of living for all.
The root of the problem is the governments in countries such as Mexico. If the leadership of the country of Mexico can be "fixed", then there would be no reason for people to want to come to the US. End the corruption!

Cost of immigration to Americans.
ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION
cuts into the wages of American Workers
To The Tune Of Some $ 200 Billion (With A "B") Annually
According to Rep. Tom Tancredo (R-Colo.),
who is head of the Congressional Immigration Reform Caucus,
"Massive immigration of low-skilled, low-wage workers
depresses wage rates
for people who are at the low economic end of the scale.
The overall effect will be
the decline of the living standard of every American,
or most Americans."
According to TNRIP,
the financial cost of this foreign invasion
to U.S. taxpayers is staggering!
Here is a break down of the annual costs:
Education: $22.5 billion
Bi-lingual Education: $3.3 billion
AFDC: $2.4 billion
SSI: $2.9 billion
Social Security: $24.8 billion
Housing Assistance: $2.6 billion
Criminal Justice: $2.6 billion J
obs Lost by Americans: $10.8 billion
Other Programs: $51.4 billion
Food Stamps: $7 billion
Health Care: $1.4 billion
(That Totals $131.7 BILLION Annually Folks)
http://prisonplanet.com/articles/april20...
This Estimate Does NOT Include
The Some $39 Billion (Again With A "B")
UNTAXED US Dollars Exported Annually
In The Form Of Remittances
($39 Billion Is Exported ANNUALLY To MEXICO ALONE
BILLIONS Of More US Dollars
Are Exported To Nations OTM
By ILLEGAL ALIENS To Their Families At Home)
ILLEGAL ALIENS OF ANY RACE / Nationality
Also Contribute To The High Cost Of HEALTH CARE
Because They Have No INSURANCE
And Its YOU The TAXPAYER
That Supports The System
That Governs The Health, Education, And WELFARE
That Many ILLEGAL ALIENS Take Advantage Of
(This Is A MAJOR CONTRIBUTION To YOUR
EXTREMELY HIGH HEALTH INSURANCE RATES Folks)
WE THE PEOPLE Should NOT Be Made To SUPPORT
ILLEGAL ALIENS Of ANY RACE / Nationality
Are A Burden To OUR (AMERICAN) Education System
By OVERCROWDING Classrooms
And Making It Virtually Impossible
For (Underpaid) Teachers
To Give The Neccessary Time And Attention
To The Individual Students
Millions of LAW ABIDING US CITIZENS
understand what is at stake,
and wonder what our response should be
to sedition, intimidation and acts of defiance
against our republic and our ordered liberty.

Nice way to put a spin on reality. The CURRENT LAWS say that if you come to the USA--ILLEGALLY--you are a criminal. This is not 1776. George Bush is the president not George Washington!
You said it yourself. Our ancestors came here because noone could force us off the land. (Actually, my ancestors were invited here..but I digress). However, that's all in the past. Since then the laws were changed to protect us and keep this a free country, free from invaders. Illegal citizens are invading our territory.
We have hundreds of thousands of war veterans who fought to preserve this and illegals think they can just come here and steal their freedom?? By doing what the illegals did they are just slapping each war veteran (dead or alive) right in the face.
Bottom line is: coming to the USA illegally is a crime no matter if you have only the best intentions.
There are millions of people all over the world who want to become US citizens. Those who do it the legal way are welcomed. Those who do it illegally are criminals and should be treated as such. One big issue is that by coming to this country without documentation (anonymously) one could easily commit crimes and not get caught. Those who come for work are only looking for trouble. Sadly, the US government has too many loopholes that allow this to continue. They even reward the more persistant ones with freedom. If an illegal manages to not get caught after 5 continuous years they are granted citizenship. This is wrong.
Here's another way to look at this...
Suppose you are sitting at home one Thanksgiving preparing a huge dinner for all of your friends and relatives. Next thing you know there are 30-40 strangers walking towards your house in a sneaky way. Then suddenly they all charge into your kitchen and just start eating all your food. You just stand there in disbelief. Then the intruders, full of food, sit down and sleep in various parts of the house. Your friends and relatives leave after awhile then you go to bed.
The next morning you wake up to find the uninvited guests have brought more of their friends and relatives to stay with them. You get a call from your boss saying your job has been eliminated due to the fact that one of your "houseguests" has offered to do it for half the salary as you. One of them has a baby with them and the baby needs medical attention. You bring them to the clinic and the clinic bills the government (tax payers) for the visit. Now you go back home and the guests have brought even more people in.
Now all those people have decided to stay indefinately at your house but they want you to buy them food as they are getting hungry again. You tell them no and they get angry. They go outside and protest and bring your US flag down from the pole, burn it while another waves a Mexican flag at the same time. Pretty soon your house is taken over by them. There you are standing on what was your own private piece of land and you think of how difficult it was to get the education to get the job to buy the house to buy the food. Now someone comes along, takes all of it from you and leaves you standing there with nothing. And all the uninvited people are angry at you for telling them to leave. You complain and that only makes them angrier.
Do you still think what illegal immigrants are doing now is right?
I have a great solution:
Round up all 11+ million illegals and take over the Mexican government. Then form your own free government! In fact, you could be the next Mexican President or King or whatever type of government you decide on. Think of the power of one! Hell, I might do it myself. You can also form your own laws! WOW! Just imagine the possibilities!

WE, the American people, built this country from the ground up. Now, you want to come over here, and take advantage of the good life!
Illegal immigrants are blood suckers and anchor babies are aliens, in the womb! Remarkably, they are instantly American at birth. What a travesty!

You are such an IDIOT.
As I have requested before from you ignorant people who keep claiming the colonist broke immigration laws coming to this Country hundreds of years ago.......what laws, show me these laws.
NOT one of you has shown me one law that was broken, because there wasn't any such laws at that time.
SO get off the soapbox, shut up, do some research and learn.
Ignorance is bliss, but in your family it was a REQUIREMENT!!!
U.P.

Nations, & their laws, are formed over many years. The current laws could be changed with a change of government which is democracy. If an individual does not observe the law then any punishment is to be expected.
