It's pronounced Trow (as in "wow") - gott. It's an old-fashioned first name for a man. It can also be a last name.

well... I don't know this name, but the pronountiation is not the english one.you have to spell it the way you see it. which means ---> t-r-a(like aaaaaaah!!)- u(like muuuuuuuuuh)-g-o(like ox)-t(you pronounce only one but big -t-)

i dunno what its used as but id think its pronounced as its spelt..
tr- (as in TR from Train)
a- as in (aa-- when you open your mouth wide)
u (as in U in Put)
and gott as in got but with an emphasis on t..
as in t in the short form Matt from the name matthew.
