Thats hard. Every wedding I have been to has a different first dance song. Some are unrecognizable ethnic songs, some are common love songs, waltzy, ballads, disco, slow sentimental diva songs, and even rock and roll. DIfferent folks, different strokes. THats what makes weddings memorable.

my dad married my step mum a year ago and they had whitney houston 'you light up my life' as their first dance.
never heard it at a wedding before but it was so beautiful, and fitting due to the circumstances.
its a personal thing, they chose it cos of the support they offered eachother due to what they'd both been through
every couple choses their song for their own reasons, hence why there is such a wide range of wedding music

not sure about most popular but Amazed by Lonestar was played at a wedding i was at + it was so romantic. also shania twain from this moment on is a good wedding song.

i went to a wedding where a 2 person band(a couple using only a harp) played and sang the song by aaron neville, "all my life" it was beautiful. here are the words to that song. on my wedding it was "sea of love"it was by a female singer. dont know her name.and it was a llittle slowwer then the original. we downloeaded the song. and also bryan adams has some great songs.and shania twain. look up their lyrics and songs.
