there are a couple of maybes here:
1.maybe simply just to say hi
2.maybe she mistakenly send it to you. you know, maybe the word hi is already typed on her cell, and she was sleeping and mistakenly send it to you. such things happen to me, alot ,you know!
3. maybe she couldnt sleep and keep thinking about you and wanted to check whether or not you're sleeping
4.maybe it was someone else that's using her cell and playing with it without her knowledge!
that's all the maybes i can figure out with!

Maybe you just need someone to talk to ; so what's wrong with that? I get lonely, too, and send emails at all hours of the night.
