Merge.Your surely having a laugh?! I am a Celtic fan and the thought of your Q makes me squirm. If they merged it would still be a Celtic 11 as Rangers are crap and I am enjoying watching them suffer, just like they did to us in the 90's. It's not all about bigotry etc etc it's just that we don't like each other.
As for the English premiership............your running scared at the prospect of Celtic joining,a full house every 2ND week and the best supporters in the land (fact). With the premiership attendances dropping maybe Sky will finally see sense and let us in. It's only the small teams IE 10 of you that don't want us to join.
Personally I would settle for your 3rd division!!
Hail Hail

The club rivalry is what keeps most of the supporters happy.
It's down to the individuals who follow the teams that it's only a game and if your team doesn't win your life will not be at an end.
This is the same for Hibs, Hearts n the rest of the mediocre sides in the SPL.

I think the only topic worthy discussing with the respect to those two teams is the SFA / UEFA and FIFA's reluctance to shut them both down. They have been the source and breeding ground of the most disgusting bigotry seen in sport. The behaviour that these sets of 'fans' show toward one another and other genuine football fans is inexcusable. I think they should make their own break-away league and just play each other every week. Let real football fans go to real football matches.

maybe if the supporters of each team grew up then the two clubs might have a better chance of getting along together as well instead of all this crap that goes on and the religious intolerance that goes on as well which has nothing at all to do with football!

That is just ridiculous, i presume you are having a giggle here jock, u must know the pure hatred between the two sides would never allow this too happen, its like arsenal and tottenham merging but only on a much lesser scale.

my hat goes off to the master of wind-ups! what would the bigots do for "90" minutes.(as if).According to some people on this site peace love and harmony already exists between "huns"&"tims" they even have pet names for each other. I think thats a superb idea and a united team would do well in europe, i mean thats what its all about eh ?
great question already in my watchlist for some colourful answers.
