Since the Bible’s test to determine whether someone is a true prophet of God is 100% accuracy in all his prophecies (Deuteronomy 18:20-22), has the LDS Church ever reconsidered its teaching that Joseph Smith and Brigham Young were true prophets since they both gave many prophecies that werent fulfilled and were in accurate ?

"Because they believed not the word of God as truth, for this cause shall God send them strong delusion that they should believe a lie." Mormonism is fallacy, strong delusion to those who do not want to follow the true Messaiah. If Mormons would read the true word of God and not blindly follow false proplhets (Prophedts of Baal) they would understand why the Word says that "turning aside from the Truth, they have turned to fables."

Many of the "prophecies" I am sure you are referring to actually weren't...but you don't accept that. Many things they said were warnings from the Lord or something like that. They weren't things like in 5 years this will happen.
ALL of Joseph's prophecies (that were actual prophecies and not just warnings) happened and some are still happening. It's funny that this is all you can come up with, the same typical anti mormon questions all the other lovely Christians come up with. I guess it must be hard grasping a straws. Good luck in finding the real truth.

A prophet is not just a predictor of the future. His more important function is to reveal the messages God wants the world to have. One of the best examples is the Word of Wisdom. Another was to restore the priesthood.

There's a difference in a warning and a prophecy. A prophecy WILL happen. A warning will happen IF...
IF you get to close to the edge you will fall over, is a warning.
You have gone too close to the edge, and will now fall over - is a prophecy (if in fact you have gone too close to the edge).
They can be difficult to distinguish between, but there is a difference.

Obviously, those golden tablets must have revised the old standards for prophets.

But then, how would anyone know WHEN the prophets were speaking truth and WHEN they weren't?

That is a problem.

What would be the safe, conservative way to handle this?

Go back to the old system!

Smith and Young were obviously false prophets.

I am not aware of their prophecies, so I can not judge.

I do know that Jesus Christ is God. A non negotiable.

Grasping at straws, eh?

Well, good luck with that. I respect your right to believe as you wish and hope that someday you will respect mine.
