I have this girlfriend (a friend who's a girl). I've always have had a crush on her. I asked her out last summer but she had a BF. She's broken up with him since, but I never reapproched her about going out with me. Anyways, we've known each other for 3 years and I really want to kiss her. I don't know whether it should be on the lips or on her cheek. I think cheek might be safer, but if she really does want to have a stronger relationship that might not come out right. I see her in the hallways sometimes and we talk and we hug each other afterwards. I want to get a kiss in then. Should I kiss her on the cheek or on the lips? After I'm done do I leave or do something? And when should I kiss her in the hug? Should I even kiss her at all? Should I kiss her in the hallway or not? Please help me!

You should ask her out again... if she agrees that is a good sign, and if you feel things are right, you should kiss her at the end. I agree with someone else who commented that you should look her in the eye before you do. Eyes don't lie. They'll give you a clue as to whether she wants you to kiss her or not. If you can't tell, take the risk but be prepared for the consequences (i guess the worst that can happen is that she slaps you). After the kiss, if she doesn't like you, well, you tried, but nothing is worse than not trying. You may also talk to her about your feelings for her, but do something. Good luck!

Kiss her - but be prepared for the consequences. She might slap you, she might run off, she might kiss you back (I am sure there are other things she might do as well - not all good nor all bad). Look her in the eyes before you do it and make that split second decision. The other option is just ask her out again and then kiss her when she agrees

Sure, go ahead. The worst that could happen is she pulls a gun on you and blasts you to kingdom come, which I don't think will happen, as she is your friend. I had a friend named Haji who had the same problem. He went out and bought his date a live boa constrictor and took it to her house. Because in Haji's native country of Kwekzektekistan, the snake is a blessed animal and they got married and lived happily ever after. Do you know if she likes snakes? You could win big there, buddy.

I think you should kiss her on the cheek, of course you can kiss her in the hug if she really likes you.

I wouldn't kiss her right there. I would ask her to watch a movie or for dinner or something and when you are alone with her then try to make your move. But only if you feel that she is comfortable with it too. You dont want to come on to her if she isnt willing.

Ask her out again, if she says yes then kiss her at the end of your date. Otherwise no, do not kiss her.

Just talk to her. Find out how she feels. If thats too hard send her a copy of your question. What have you got to lose?
