ROMANS 1:24
WHEREFORE GOD ALSO GAVE THEM UP TO UNCLEANNESS THROUGH THE LUST OF THEIR OWN HEARTS,TO DISHONOR THEIR OWN BODIES BETWEEN THEM SELF:
WHO CHANGED THE TRUTH OF GOD INTO A LIE,AND WORSHIPED AND SERVED THE CREATURE MORE THEN THE CREATOR,WHO IS BLESSED FOR EVER.
AMEN.
VERSE 28-
AND THEY DID NOT LIKE TO RETAIN GOD IN THEIR KNOWLEDGE,GOD GAVE THEM TO A REPROBATE MIND,TO DO THOSE THINGS WHICH ARE NOT CONVENIENT.
BEING FILLED WITH ALL UNRIGHTEOUSNESS,FORNICATION,WICKEDNESS,COVETOUSNESS,MALICIOUSNESS: FULL OF ENVY,MURDER,DEBATE,DECEIT,MALIGNITY,WHISPERS,BACKBITERS,HATERS OF GOD,DESPITEFUL,PROUD,BOASTERS,INVENTORS OF EVIL THINGS,DISOBEDIENT TO PARENTS,
WITHOUT UNDERSTANDING,COVENANT BREAKERS,WITHOUT NATURAL AFFECTIONS,IMPLACABLE,UNMERCIFUL:
WHO KNOWING THE JUDGMENT OF GOD, THAT THEY WHICH COMMIT SUCH THINGS ARE WORTH OF DEATH,NOT ONLY DO THE SAME,BUT HAVE PLEASURE IN THEM THAT DO THEM.

It is a sin to be homosexual, it is not something that is born in a person or anything, but it happeneds and many people are gay. It was not something God did to anyone, he did say he gave them up for their own lust towards one another, and that did not just mean same sex. It is not always sin if a person makes the choice and they did not understand the choice at the time. This happends to many children. Everything is for a reason, and God will not forsake his children, best to ask in prayer for help with all things, and Jesus Christ will help a person be a Christian and teach them to do the will of God Almighty if it is their will to do so.

This is why i feel the bible is misinterpreted or written By MAn in some cases. Maybe these men went wrong in their writings. I Mean they are imperfect men. Look at Moses he didnt even enter the PROMISE LAND, because he messed up. It is possible they misinterpreted their prophetic dreams or what God was trying to tell them. Most Gays I know Were not abused, were not raised by all women. They were born this way they have these natural impulses. They refuse to lie to themselves and bed a women for society's sake. So How can I as a homosexual go to god in prayer and love knowing he doesnt accept me and I am an abomination to him. This doesnt sound like the Loving all emrcifula dn sincere God I know. The one Jesus Preached about. Man has a big influence on what is taught to the masses. Thats what the Sagucees and Pharicees were doing b4 Jesus came down and let them have it.

Though I'm not a Christian, your statement makes sense. I have always been told that sin is "anything that seperates you from God and takes the place of God". Being gay myself and being deeply religious I can say that the fact that I'm gay never took the place of God in my life. I could understand doing something sexual deviant like raping someone and the harm that this causes...I could see how this could be a sin because this means that sex itself has become an obsession that is in control. In such circumstances you have let go of self control and are hurting other people. One pastor I knew said "sin is when we hurt each other and when we hurt each other this hurts God". Well, if sin is what seperates us from God and takes the place of God and is when we hurt each other.....then there are many people I know who have sinned by being intolerant, rude, and hateful towards me just because I'm gay. If what I've been told is true "gay bashing" and "gay hating" is a sin because there are some who are so obsessed and want nothing more than to annihilate all gays from society (example: Fred Phelps) thus their obsession with gays has taken the place of God and in their obsession they hurt gays, the family that gay people belong to, the children of gay people, etc. This must be a major sin and God must really be hurting by just how badly they hurt others. If the defination of sin is when we hurt each other then humanity seems to be very sinful and sometimes sins in the very holy name of God. :(

Some people were born with a chemical imbalance in the brain that causes them to have the inclination to commit murder as well. That doesn't mean that they can't seek help to try not to commit that sin.
If I give you that some people are born with these desires towards homosexuality, seeking help is also the answer. I love my sister but she admits to being a very jealous person, yet she works on it constantly. We all have little flaws about us, that's what makes us imperfect.
People who are attracted to the same sex are no different, they are not above God's expectations of us, however yes, God loves them very much. He wants them to change like the rest of us and follow him. God loves them and so should we.
But it is clearly wrong as stated in Rom 1:26, Lev 18:22, and 1 Cor 6:10.
Society is not the place to look for moral consistency.

Disagree. God's objective for gays is exactly the comparable for straights -- to steer as morally a existence as you may, and settle for that there are issues you have not have been given any administration over. 2 gay adult males can run a Christian enjoyed ones, and stay a God-attractive existence merely like quite a few in the present day couple can.

It really is simple. You can't use Leviticus because the Levitical Priesthood, for whom the book was written, were Jews. Those laws do not apply to Gentiles, they never did, and never will. You can't use any of Paul's writings unless you use all of them, including women keeping silent in church, not divorcing their husbands except for adultery, and if they do get a divorce, not remarrying until their ex husband is dead, women not being eligible to be Pastors or evangelists, etc... Until the evangelicals do that, they are nothing more than practicing hypocrites - and God promises to spew them out of His mouth. There is a BIG difference between doing God's will, and doing your own will in God's name. Unfortunately, most Christians don't know the difference.

I am a Christian and the Bible (God's Word) says homosexuality is a sin. The Bible says a lot of things are sins. And every day every human being sins. So if a homosexual tries to follow God's word like we are all supposed to be doing on a daily basis, if they accept Jesus Christ as their savior and ask for forgiveness for their sins, only God can decide if they get into heaven. But understand this, even though I have committed a sin such a stealing, I will not stand up in church or public and say it is OK. And I will not stand up in church or public and say homosexuality is OK. It is a sin as much as stealing, lying, lusting, etc. I won't condone it or support it. I will leave the forgiveness of it up to God. That's His department.

I think you make an excellent point.
Many people will experiment with homosexual sex for whatever reason (like in college or when they're drunk or something), but are not actually gay. For some, it is a means of finalizing a suspicion that they might be gay, but for others, it is meaningless and, well, disgusting. I think the people that do this give the rest of the gay community a bad name, suggesting that gay people only "act" homosexual out of rebellion to social "norm," perversion, lust, etc.
However, being (truly) homosexual is not a sin, because it comes as a natural instinct to actual gay people.

Being sexually attracted to the same sex and having lustful thoughts to be with them sexually is a sin, having sexual relations with the same sex is a sin - you are going again God's creation of humankind. Satan has entered the world and has planted sexual temptations all around us (perversions). Seeing a person of the same sex and thinking "hey, he's cute" isn't a sin. But if you dwell on his 'cuteness' and start to think about doing things with him, that's lusting and that sinful, it can also lead into more sin if you act upon that thought. Sinful thoughts can leads us to sinful actions. If you feel you are gay but choose not to be sexually active and lead a life of chastity, you aren't sinning. But when and if you have lustful thoughts, you need to repent, atone and try your hardest not do do it again, pray to God for strength in this area. Same things with fornication (pre-marital sex) and adultery, masturbation (sexual self-pleasure by yourself or infront of others is sinful, against God's plan of creation).
When you do these sort of things, you are telling God "hey, you screwed up with creation, you didn't make me the way I want to be". Same goes with people that have sex change operation. God created humans in His image, He had a plan and He created it. Satan is trying real hard to mess with that plan on a daily basis. The more we give in to Satan's sinful ways, the farther we are from God. Homosexuals can stop having sex, repent, atone and start their relationship with God. Just like all sinners can and do. Drinking occassionally during a celebration (like at a wedding, to toast the couple) is okay, but drinking too much is a sin. You are putting toxins into your body and destroying God's creation. Same as gluttony (over eating), sloth (laziness) ,etc. God clearly tells us in the Bible what He wants from us. We have the choice to obey or not. And if we choose to follow God, we are also to watch out for our brethren and tell them when they are messing up. We are to help each others' souls get to Heaven.

This is getting tiresome . The CREATOR OF ALL THINGS MADE THE SOULS OF ALL THAT WAS AND WILL BE FROM ITS OWN BODY(straight, gay or anything in between).
So GOD the CREATOR is both within and without of you. and gives you free will to follow what ever path you chose to follow as long as you harm none.
So of course the Creator will accept you back as a Prodigal son/daughter because you are a part if the Creator and the Creator is apart of you.
