i think mark james is an arrogant , ignorant son of a ***** who has behaved atrociously in the ryder cup with ken brown and the faldo incident was a disgrace , the man will forever live in the shadow of faldo,s class !!! faldo has won 6 majors , mr james a big fat zero , he could not clean faldo,s shoes and the way he has belittled faldo has surely brought the game into dis- repute . the closest he has to a major is being a major ******e !! i would love to give him a good kick in the titleists !!! what do you think ??????

Mark James has strong views on certain matters, that is for sure. However, he has been through quite a lot in his personal life which may excuse him for being slightly bitter. I can see why you don't like him, but my overriding golf memory of him was how happy he was after the 1999 Open at Carnoustie when Paul Lawrie had just won. This cemented Paul's place in the Ryder Cup team and Mark was obviously pleased to welcome him on board. As a golfer, you are certainly correct, he couldn't lace Faldo's boots. However, Faldo has been known to be outspoken himself in the past, and won't be the most popular captain ever. That aside, I hope that everyone gets behind him and the team and we see another resounding victory in the States.

Unfornunately there are a few whingers around, Monty is one of the worst.
Why can't they just get on with the game the way that Faldo used to?

I have absolutely no idea who Mark James is. Nick Faldo is a living legend though - totally ace.

Agree completely, Faldo is one of the all time greats. A bit more respect wouldnt have gone astray.

I think that he's smart enough to know how to spell "buffoon", or at least know how to use a spell checker.

I also think that this is a bunch of noise about nothing.

Regarding bringing "the game into disrepute". No one person, or even group of people can do that. Golf is an ancient and respected game, and it's reputation and traditions are far stronger than the words of any one person.
