What are some cultural differences between whites and mexicans that I should keep in mind?

For example, mexican women will always pretend to be chaste and being too forward is a deal breaker. And I dont jeer or do any of that nonsense that other Mexican guys are famous for.

Latinas speak their minds more and many are good at taking care of their men (in a very good way). Caucasian women are more athletic / outdoorsy and usually more appreciative of men who speak their minds. All women appreciate men who are confident and kind.

I was married to a Latin woman for many years. We have 3 children. Even though were no longer married, we have remained very good friends. I learned how to cook Mexican food, and she learned pot roast etc. The hardest part for me was, even though she was born in the States, many in her family were not, and at times I felt like an out-sider. They spoke Spanish alot and then would look my way almost with pity, and then speak English. She was brought up with very little knowledge of how to balance a checkbook, pay bills etc. I encouraged her to expand herself, not only for her self esteem, but to help pay bills. She is now a nurse and very independent. Some of the older members in her family thought this was terrible, but she set an example for our children. Some in her family never fully excepted me because I'm white. But to this day we love and respect each other and even though we are no longer a couple, we made a promise to each other that we would never be hungry or homeless. We both have different partners who also accept us, so in a weird yet good way, we are all family. At the end of the day when you not only love someone but, respect them that's all that really matters.

and mexicans are famous for their close family bonds.

as for latinas, i wouldn't mind dating one, but i never have yet.

i didn't think there was that much cultural differences.... they are both basically Christan I would assume... and the other things that you describe are stereotypes not cultural things....

just being yourself should be good enough....
