I just picture another scared American watching CNN or Fox and saying, "Oh my..." when given the images of the North Korean army posted on their television screens...while being totally held back to the violence and images that would scare them even more in Iraq. North Korea isn't marching anywhere...they're not attacking anyone - not even China wants them to have Nuclear weapons. Their military is a defence mechanism ingrained in the people to support their leader (Kim Jong Il) against imperial aggression (The US) Although neither the US will attack North Korea (b/c China) nor will North Korea attack the US, the army and anti-imperialism/ totalitarian ideology is used to unite the people around their leader. (sound familiar?) A distraction and excuse for the sad state tht N.Korea is currently in.
So, in hindsight, the correct answer to the question, "Where do you think the North Koreans are marching to?" is.... into your living room! Right out of the Fox news screen into your humble, American, free, Christian-loving home! Be afraid! Be very afraid!

The North Korean soldiers march in the same style that the Russian soldiers do because at the end of World War 2, Russia had stationed troops in Korea, and it greatly influenced communism in North Korea and China by 1949, and so the Armies of China and North Korea patterned their communist military forces after Russias.

I saw them on television and I was surprise that their people were starving but the head of State spent money and weapon. Now the North Korea is in a nuke business that drives the Asian countries crazy. Now the President of the United States is going to Asian Summit in Vietnam and we will watch and see what is next.
