You Do Know There's An Abuse Category That Covers This But As You Really Haven't Said Anything Offencive And You Did Give Me 10 Points For My Comment On The Thames What Do I Care. I'll Just Say One Thing. There Are Some Pretty Straight Laced Religious Types Who For Some Reason Will Take Offence At Just About Anything. They Should Just Rise Above It As Should You. Name Calling Never Hurt Anyone, Though It Has Started The Odd War Or Seven.

I gave you thumbs up number 10! It makes me laugh when the godbotherers start thumbing down answers, I wonder if they contact eachother and inform of some evil none christian who is exercising free will and logical thought. They then converge upon the question by said evil person then quote bible refs that are so long and boring that no one bothers to read before telling you they will pray for you, god has a plan for you and you are going to hell. Well at least it will be quiet down there, and I here the weather is nice at this time of year too.

I have found the opposite - If I answer a religious question from a christian perspective, which happens to be my own opinion (and yes christians can think for themselves) all the anti-God-squad people home in like a swarm of bees and give me the thumbs down. It seems to be 'bash a christian' week and we are expected to just sit back and take it when we are bad mouthed and insulted.

Like it has already been mentioned on here, this is a discussion where people can give their point of views and why ask a question if you only want to get the answers YOU want to hear.

I never give thumbs down to anyone. Everybody has the right in his opinion. I only give a thumb up if I agree 100%.
I don't agree with you on that. I find non-believers much more insulting towards religious ppl. I am christian and get thumbs down for just posting information. Iam not on this site to do any missionary work. I give my answer and opinion to the questions on here.

ok, i just gave u ur 9th thumb up - and i agree with u, the reason people do that is coz they hate when someone disagrees with them, which is a violation of freedom of speech, right? personally, i give thumbs down to people who insult God and His prophets .......... an answer of type - i disagree - is fine with me and will never get a thumb down down, but an answer of type - ur prophet is a pedophile - will always get one from me

I've wondered that aswell, I'm a Christian, and I certainly give a thumbs up to anybpdies opinion unless its irrelevant, or abusive, I think thats the whole point of using Yahoo answers isn't it? So you can read different opinions. I think its just people with nothing better to do!

I know what you mean, I am not religious, but my Husband is, so we both have our differences when it comes to religion, I never insult any ones beliefs as they are entitles to have them, and when, I say anything that they may not like, I get a thumbs down too. I don't think they should ask for any ones opinions if they don't like what they are going to hear.


At least they are being the same as ever, I am getting the thumbs down, as per usual, what have I said here that justifies thumbs down? I am not saying anything bad about any ones Religions am I, I still got the thumbs down thought.
