How many other minorities experience this. Usually, I'm pretty good with opening lines, and not afraid of rejection.

white girls are much more independent. They are typically much more social and have different expectations. They will often challenge you more and voice their own opinions more. not to say that it can't work. I am a minority, too, btw. =D oh, white women are ho =D. I don't usually give white women a chance... dunno why i should they are so hot =D. i guess i wonder if it will be a huge culture shock.

Maybe you feel that she will reject you because of prejudism, but honey don't worry, approaching a white girl is the same as approaching a Mexican or a Black or any other race, Whites are no better or worse than you are. Heads up and approach em.

Because Society has taught us to be prejudice in every culture. I am 1/2 white and 1/2 Hawaiian and I get it from both cultures. But you shouldn't feel apprehensive about approaching someone from another culture because what if that person is someone that you may connect with. Don't let color stand in your way. After all we are all human beings.

I don't think you should be scared. Some girls like a little ethnicity in their men. I happen to like a part Irish part Mexican, Latino Man right now. Don't be shy. Go ahead and ask. I don't think you should be inhibited in anyway. My first boy friend was Spanish and El Salvadorian. Invite her to Salsa or if she doesn't know offer to teach her. Tell her " I love you" in Spanish. If it gets that far. Get it? Get creative. Your ethnicity isn't a barrier. It's a gift of diversity. ---Leila F
