My hair is still wet is it okay to nip down to the shops If I put a scarf over them as I have found that my tights have a ladder in them and I do not have another pair to wear with the outfit that I want to wear

Sure. Nobody cares. (Its kind of a sixties-type-of-thing to do. People used to go around with the rollers-under-the-scarf look all the time.)

of course. a scarf over it will also give you a touch of 50's retro about you! Just act confident and make it look like you don't care at all.

some adult males look large with curly hair. I knew individual who permed his hair for a large "afro". And he wasn't gay. Your son feels like a metro sexual variety of guy. that's impressive. he isn't apprehensive of the "sensual" area of himself - the area that feels - everthying. that's a sensitivity concern - to how issues look, sense, smell, & sound. it is impressive! So, placed some perm rods in his hair (with out the perm lotion,) see the way it seems and attempt another seems. sturdy for you, mom. a guy with actual flavor. have relaxing!

Do what you want.But truthfully it's probably be 20 years since I saw a woman in a store with curlers in her hair.

It depends. If you have kids, it'll embarrass them horribly. Mothers used to go places like that in my hometown, and we'd make fun of the kids whose moms went out with rollers in their hair.
If you don't, then go ahead.

i always laugh when i see women out and about in rollers... i always think..."if you're going thru all that trouble to look nice, then why are you going about town looking like THAT!?".....but i think sometimes it can't be avoided....it takes so long for roller set hair to dry.....and to be honest i DID go out to the coffee shop in rollers once!
