Truth is often directly related to change. The truth by definition shows us something that we were not aware of, were unsure of, or actually out-right denied before. Not surprisingly, when this happens we have to re-evaluate what is important to us and what our responsibilities in any one situation are. Simply put, truth means change and change is scary.....

Truth hurts for those who doesnot wanted the truth to be like this and when they know it is just the opposite from what they were expecting, they become sad. Especially if the truth shows that they were wrong.
I am of those people who are always happy to know the truth and always welcoming it even if it shows we were wrong. At least we will stop being wrong.

Who's truth? What some may perceive to be the truth isn't necessarily everyone's truth.

The truth only hurts if you are too bull-headed to admit you are wrong about something.

The Truth hurts when we are not in a state of mind to accept it, that is when one really wish that it would not happen to him/her but the truth is against your wish, it hurts you in such a way that you hardly can accept it. In life we may or may not have to face this type of situation, so be prepared!!! It is one of the worst tragedy in life!! May God save us from such tragedies!!

i think its ok to tell the truth to yourself but when somebody says it out loud to you it hurts coz it feels like they have betrayed you in sum way, or stabbed you in the bak, i think its just sumthing about somebody else saying it to you then it HAS to be true but if you just say it to ur self then you could be wrong...did that make sense? lol

Because sometimes we want to do what we want to do- and don't want to hear the truth- because we have a rebellious streak- D

Because it is not something we like to look directly at and admit that they are our faults..... Sometimes, those faults are very grave.... and sometimes, they are things we don't want others to know......
