no. i would have to rape someone, try to kill someone or steal a lot of money to be considered a black sheep in my family. So, i have some leg room.

Yes I am the black sheep of my family. I was a drug addict. Everyone else never did drugs went to college and got good jobs. It took me awhile to turn my life around. But I still consider myself the black sheep.

My husband has always been the black sheep. Every since he returned from Vietnam. He grew his hair long, bought a Harley and just basically didn't give a crap about them anymore. If they could not accept him being a Veteran and serving his country, then screw them. He is living for himself not for his family. And I love him anyway, black sheep or rebel whatever label you want to put on it. There is always one in a family.

Yes . l have very strong beliefs and opinions. I have been told I am stubborn and will not compromise on any issues that I strongly believe in. I have not spoken to my family for over 7 years. Last year they contacted me because a relative was dying. I spoke to the relative and asked what I had done why they had not contacted me. They avoided the question. I no longer care if they love or hate me. I have my own family and do not need their love I get enough at home. I am also the middle child.

Yes and proud of it. But l don't think it's really because l'm all that different from the rest of my family l think it's because l have strong beliefs and opinions and l'm not real interested in compromising who l am for families sake. They still love me and l them as a matter of fact l would give my own life so that they might have it better.

I am and always have been. BUT, I'm proud to say that once I got away from their discouraging remarks to me I was able to move to another state and become very successful in my family and career.
It actually pisses them off!
So, make the most of it. Go prove them wrong! And only call them on Christmas for 3 minutes and only 3 minutes, and brag on all your accomplishments.

yes because i refused to ignore the ignorance of certain family members and stood up for what was right. i don't associate with them much and i live in a different state. i miss them sometimes but i know that i done the right thing and i would do it over in a heart beat.
