I have two dogs... one is Brandie and she is a cockerspaniel poodle mix (cockapoo). She is fifteen and I've had her since I was 10. I was there at her birth and visited her everyday until I could take her home at 6 weeks. She is wise in her old age but still playful and loving. She basically trained herself because she is so smart and trained our other dog too! I never have been able to break her of getting into the trash though. Her eyes are expressive and she knows how I am feeling and I can sense how she is feeling. She loves to play with her toys, especially tug of war and chase, also she likes to hide under the bed and pretend she is attacking me. Once our horse was very sick and had a hurt leg so he had to lay down for a long time, she stayed out in his pen with him and they cuddled each other. She nurses back her loved ones with her caring nature and love. She is the best dog I have ever had and a genuine part of my family. She has cute little triangle ears that stick out and everyone says she looks like a little Ewok.
My other dog is Mugsy Capone and he is a Bischon Frise and Poodle mix. He is wild and silly, his tail is curly and he is full of energy and gets into everything. He is stubborn but very loving and gentle. I call him my baby boy. He thinks he is a guard dog. He looks over everyone in the family, especially Brandie. He loves anything he can destroy especially toys and socks, he likes to destuff pillows (only the ones we give him) and we tease that he is self loathing and hates "fluff" becasue he is so fluffy and has super curly fur. If you call him a skunk baby he goes into pretend attack mode immeadiatly and runs around the house extremely fast and he tucks his curly tail and butt in when he runs, we call it the tuckbutt run or scoot scootin'. He is very funny.

Had many dogs, "Holly" is the funniest yet, we rescued her from an org. here in NY called "Last Hope" (they rescue dogs from shelters and find them a good home), she's part Golden lab (webbed feet), and I think part "Racing Pig", she has a big pink nose, and yellow eyes, she always does something strange and funny (not normal like me), the other day I went to let her out and she was bouncing back and forth on her front and hind legs giving "Mule Kicks", I had to sit down because I ran out of breath laughing, my friend had just gotten done saying "I've seen this dog do everything, she can't get any wierder", nearly wet my pants,Sweet and Friendly too, thats my "Lunk-a-telli"

I have a Beagalier and I love her eyes, there's a thousand words to be said, locked up in them, every look is a expressive look. You can almost tell what she's trying to say. The way she frowns when she's sad, the sleep look, the "ive got a toy lets play" look. She's beautiful and when I'm feeling down and depressed, I can count on a look from her beautiful eyes to cheer up my spirits. Why have a partner when you can have a dog hey?

Kokomo was the silliest dog ever! He was a dachshund mix. When we asked him to get a certain color bean bag, he'd got get that one (aren't dogs color-blind??? LOL I don't know HOW he did it! Good guesser, I guess!) He loved to sun-bathe at the bottom of the steps with our cat and to play Hide-n-Seek with us (we'd hide, he'd seek). He would smile (Elvis-style curled lip) and sneeze every time we came home. Said I Love You and I Want Out. LOVED going to the Ballpark for Dog Day Afternoon. His best tricks were spinning in a circle on his hind legs (kind of a jump spin thing that he learned himself from a song. haha) and he'd put his front legs up on the bottom step of the ladder after our two cats had climbed it (the finishing TA-DA to their trick). And his naughtiness as a puppy! He once dragged me under a pine tree (OUCH!!) He had a little Hitler mustache and a Marilyn mole... Man I miss that dog!

It's hard to pick just one thing - there are so many!
I love them for being just as they are.
Here's a few things ...
our littlest youngest dog:
(looks like a larger rat terrier)
when she's under our bed with only her nose sticking out from under the edge of the dust ruffle...we call her and the only thing we hear is a "thunk thunk thunk" sound from under our bed (her wagging tail hitting the floor & the underside of the bed)
our medium sized oldest dog:
(shar pei/german shepard mix):
when she gets all riled up, wagging her tail and talks to you while she walks around rubbing on the furniture
our biggest dog:
(weimaraner)
she thinks she can fit through any space the size of the width of her nose and absolutely has to be RIGHT in the middle of whatever's going on

I have a chi.he's so adorable. The way he looks at me when he's trouble "I didn't do anything". He's so compassionate and loving. If I am crying, he will get in my face and kiss me until I start laughing. When I am sick he gets real close to me and sits there licking my fingers, etc to make me feel better. I love the way he lays when he wants me to rub his "tummy". I got him from a shelter when I was living in another state.I was alone with no friends or family nearby. I was suicidal..He was my rescuer. We rescued each other and he's been a rescuer every since.

Almost every day my baby does something new that makes us laugh so hard. He is the best friend to have.
He is strange. He will not go potty outside without his leash. He will not go three feet away from the patio. He is the best.
I adopted him through the shelter. He was a stray. The baby is full blooded Shiz Sui and is so adorable. Since he will not go out of the yard, is it not strange that he was a stray? I love him.

I love how he always seems to know the emotional support that I need from him. He's the best therapist one could ever hope for! And you know, we never wallow in the past and he never sends me a bill for our sessions!
If i get hurt, he's right there with this - "I'm here if you need me for anything" behavior.
When I come home after work he is all tail wags and unconditional love and wanting to play with me.
In the evening and I'm chilling in the living room, he's right at my feet, just being there.
Sometimes he just senses that I'm getting too serious and is relentless in luring me into playing with him. I think he's trying to tell me to balance stress and play.
When it's time to go, he wants to be with me, no matter where the road takes us.

I have a Shih-Tzu. 15 mos., old Female with 3 legs. Her name is Cocopuff, and she is smart as a whip. She loves to ride in the car, and she knows places she's been before we even get there. I love her most because she is so good, obeys and misses me like crazy when I wake up in the morning.
