I have this girlfriend (a friend who's a girl). I've always have had a crush on her. I asked her out last summer but she had a BF. She's broken up with him since, but I never reapproched her about going out with me. Anyways, we've known each other for 3 years and I really want to kiss her. I don't know whether it should be on the lips or on her cheek. I think cheek might be safer, but if she really does want to have a stronger relationship that might not come out right. I see her in the hallways sometimes and we talk and we hug each other afterwards. I want to get a kiss in then. Should I kiss her on the cheek or on the lips? After I'm done do I leave or do something? And when should I kiss her in the hug? Should I even kiss her at all? Should I kiss her in the hallway or not? Please help me!

Ok.....
First, I don't think it's the right time for you to kiss her... no just yet. I mean, I understand you've known her and liked her a while but you need to make sure she likes you first before you do something that might get you a slap in the face (both litterly and symbolicly). Girls usually like to go out with a guy before they kiss them. So this is what I suggest:
1) let her know you still like her and would like to further your relationship
2)ask her on a date or two and see how you guys connect.
3) If all goes well, ask her out. If she says yes, kiss her. And not on the cheek, go for the lips, you deserve it! Plus that way she knows your interested in more than just friendship or just bearly boyfriend-girlfriend....
4) after you kiss her DO NOT just walk away. Tell her you enjoyed the kiss and asked her if she liked it. If she didnt, you might as well know now rather than later.
5) if she did, do it again :)
as for the hallway, thats not the most romantic place, but if thats the only place you see her, so be it. Just dont get caught cuz that would be the most emberresing thing ever!!

hey man....
well like If you have known her that long and you asked her out before she probly knows you still like her...I think that you should just give her a kiss on the cheek to start with then when she feels comfortable or reaction you know then you kiss her on the lips...If she doesnt like that you kissed her just say it was a friend kiss..Maybe do it the period before you do a math test or some kinda test...If she reacts differnt then you thought then tell her it was a good luck kiss... that way you will have something to cover it up...But,I think after 3 years and you waiting so long to talk to her bout it and I dont think a kiss on the cheek will hurt..And yeah as you read this you probly are thinking I am a teen and yeah I am I am in 9th grade and I know these things ......Just take it slow and do what I suggested if you want but its best to do it before a test just in case or do it when something hard is coming up you can make it a good luck kiss!!!!

Kiss her on the cheeks for the time being. Then ask her out for a date. It's only then that you kiss her on the lips. I'm sure it's gonna work.

if youre friends then you should ask her to hang out... dont do it in the hallway because then even if she does like you she might be embarrassed. ask her to hang out and then when youre going home hug her and kiss her on the cheek when you go in for the hug. if you mess it up you can always kiss her when youre pulling away too

Kiss her on the forehead. It is sweet. If she doesn't like it, she'll either say so or pull away. IF she likes it she'll let you know by smiling or telling you.... do it at the end of the hug, so she has the choice to walk away or let you do it again. If you go for the lips you might get smacked. and then you'd both be embarrassed.

If you are not sure, I would start out simple. You can't rush a good thing. Kinda like sex and foreplay. They more you tease and show the gentleness you feel for her the more she will appreciate your kindness and respect for her. She will feel a lot closer to you if you don't rush things. Then, either way, no matter what you do, she might just decide to slap you in the face too.

you must be a teenager.
before you kiss her you should really ask if its okay, she may not see you that way and you dont want to upset her.
go the safe route, take her to a movie and do it there!
