Freezing beer concentrates the alcohol and makes it stronger. Bud Ice is watered down before it is canned though. Apparently this is cheaper to brew than conventional brewing, I'm not sure why.

Most likely it is lower due to the wholesaler trying to entice the consumer to try Bud Ice. It makes a better sampling opportunity. Budweiser basically sells itself and doesn't need to be discounted.

Not really sure, but probably because ice-brewing is a cheaper way to brew beer...actually all ice beers are cheaper if you think about it....nasty too, but definitely a bit cheaper...hope this is the right answer
