There's this girl that I see during some of my classes. She's kinda cute. But we have never talked. And suddenly one day she came up to me and asked me if i'm christian and asked me to go to a christian event in school (I'm not sure if she said that 'we would like to invite you' or she was asking me on her own account) But I didn't have the time to go.
I'm not the type who likes a girl just bcoz she's cute but I have to admit I was well, thrilled that she asked. In fact I'm surprised that she knows my name.
We talked for some while the next day. But it's strange, she ignored me for the next few days when she saw me.
I just want to ask: Why did she ignore me? I was too slow to say hi to her I admit. But I thought our conversation was too short for there to have been anything that made her dislike me or etc. 'm being egoistic here or maybe i have a bit of crush on her but do you guys think there is any chance that she liked me or somehting ot that effect by asking me that day?

She could be doing it because she wants to help you find Jesus so you can live forever. He is the only way. She not only likes you, she loves you.

I feel that that girl wasn't interested in you ... From personal experiences she probably wanted to invite you to God. Charismatic christians are like that. Did you check out if she's from the school's christian group? She could be one of the organisers too. Or maybe she thought you look like you are in need of some spiritual help?
BUT dude what is certain is that she at least likes the looks of you (i don't mean like as in the boy-girl attraction type). At least she thinks you are approachable or why would she have asked you a total stranger? She at least thinks that you 2 could be friends.
I'm not sure why she's ignoring you. Maybe she wasn't. Like she didn't see you, or maybe when she did you were talking with other people? Or probably she's feeling embarassed that she asked you a total stranger to an event and what's more you turned down her invitation. That's my guess. Some of these christians talk to you when they feel they are 'required' to talk to ppl in the name of God or invite ppl to church and stuff like that. But once it's about normal things and you aren't really even friends in the first place, they may just feel there is no need to talk.
I think she probably understands that you didn't turn up. If she doesn't she's a jerk. If you want to show that you are kinda interestedin her, go up to her and apologise for not showing up. You don't have to feel bad about it. My guess is that she probably invited many others too.
My advice is: don't think too much. She probably wasn't asking you out. (if she did, whoa you are a lucky guy). I mean if she was, she could have asked you to somewhere else instead of a social thing like this. But anyway what it shows is that she already has a ok impression of you. You should take her up from there if you are interestedin her. There's no need to ask her out but just go and talk to her? Be friends?
Girls are usually more 'thin-skinned' so she might be feeling embarassed. Maybe she thought you might misunderstand her and worries that you might think she likes you and that's why she's ignoring you!

sorry buddy but I don't think she liked you. I think she thought you looked like an interesting enough person and wanted to invite you to attend that event but I dont think it was because of any attraction. Mabey she thought you looked like you need spiritual guidance or that your hanging out with the wrong people so she waned to give you a new group to hang with. But whatever it was she prob wasnt too interested in you. The fact that she ignored you is prob cuz she felt bad that you denied her request, but I dont think she is holding it against you personally. She might have caught on to you kinda liking her and started to ignore you so that you would get your hopes up. But dont waste your time on her Im sure there are plenty more worthy girls out there for ya!

If you start focusing on a girl, you can very, very easily get paranoid that they are ignoring you, when they are not
I thought my girlfriend (wasn't my girlfriend yet) was ignoring me for a whole week. I felt really bad, and I asked her about it. She said she wasn't ignoring me at all. In retrospect I was being really paranoid
I bet you that she isn't ignoring you either, you are just focusing too much on her and expecting something

Considering your ? your in highschool too huh?ok well anyway she is doing that she is playing hard to get..She likes you but wants you to make the move....She thinks you should ask her out not you asking her out....I dont really know what else to say besides she is really playing hard to get...U will fighure it out I mean common you cant be that old if you are in classes wit her..School means your not that old..so. like let her figure out that she likes you more and she is ignoring you because she is trying to give you a sign that she likes you... anyway good luck...

Maybe one of your friends said something to her to make her think that you were spreading rumours about her all over town. She might be over it by now. Ask her out already. Geez.
