What a whiny complainer. She should be happy with what she gets. If she wants something though, ask her for fifty cents and go get one from a toy machine. That better shut her up or your outta there.

Yes, and I'll tell you why. You were an idiot for not knowing that she would be upset that you told her you bought them in a pawn shop in the first place. Secondly, I don't think there's anything wrong with the idea of buying the rings fom a pawnshop, but you might have taken the time to have her ring sized to the exact finger she would be putting it on and maybe coming up with a cover story or having the rings polished so there was never any question that they were brand new; if this weren't possible, you should have had the diamond reset in a new ring setting and avoided the hassle of this charming confrontation. Let's face it, diamonds come out of the dirt and are formed from a chunk of compressed coal, basically. But no woman wants to be made to feel that she's getting the leftovers of a failed attempt at marriage when the institution is so frail as it is!!!

That is so messed up! That is jacked up! Put yourself in her shoes with tape on your ring that falls off every 5 seconds. She should not marry you behind this because this just shows your character in the future. Beside you have a backup plan ie another girlfriend and she doesn't.

She has a right to mad about your attitude and your other girlfriend, but not about where the rings came from. The appropriate and considerate thing would have been to get the ring sized for her.

U r stingy on petty things. Why cannot u get her a new ring or get the existing one fitted to her size. If u do so, probably u will get much more in return mentally and materially compared to what u r asking her to do from her pocket now.

How insensitive! Every girl dreams of the perfect Wedding. If her wish is to have new rings, she should get new rings. Besides if you have another girlfriend, what are you doing mess with this girls heart anyway?

i bet the other gf would complain if she knew who you bought it for to start with, you are doing both girls wrong, you sound like you don't respect either of them, they won't you for long. why would you take marriage vows to one woman, and then have another woman. you do not have any family values at all. someday you will be left all alone and wind up hurting. and quit hurting these girls, they have a right to a happy life with or without you. give the girls a break man. they have feelings too.

Actually, since you bought the ring for her, you should have tried a bit harder to find a ring that would fit her finger perfectly. She shouldn't have to pay for your error.
And, wait, you have another girlfriend?

First of all you shouldnt be cheating on your girlfriend and second of all how "cheap" were these rings.
I dont think your girlfriend is being irrational at all - You should at least have got her a ring that fits or at least a ring she likes.
You should be ashamed of yourself

ok, if you have another g/f for real, yes, she has all the rights in the world to be mad at you. and, if your tight on finances, tell her. she can take it! just tell her to wait a little so that you can get settled in together and you can get her a better ring, or just get hers resized along the same lines.
