Why do they have to make up stories about him to fit their own agendas?? Jesus WAS ( well maybe there really isn't a lot of proof..) a good peaceful prophet and all..but that's all and now he's dead! Why can't you just let him R.I.P...??? = S
Is that to hard to do??

I think religious wars and squabbles can be the most violent, Sol. I do believe that Jesus is a real Person, but that SO many people have given Him such a bad name that not many people want anything to do with Him anymore. However, history actually proves that the Person called Jesus did in fact rise from the dead, and that the Jewish leaders of the time planned a coverup story with the Romans to say that Jesus' body was stolen by His followers. There's a book called "Evidence That Demands A Verdict" about the real, historical life of Jesus, His death, His resurrection, and His ascension out of earth to Heaven. What I tell you is based on writings both outside of the Bible as well as from nonChristians. You can do some research on it if you want to find out more.

well! as a muslim never dare to make stories about the honored prophets of god like jesus (peace be upon him), and yes there are a lot of proofs for that ,he was one of the most honored and peaceful prophet, so it isnot problem and hard for me.

ps: we also believe that he isn't dead yet , he ascended to god up in the sky and he will be back before the judgement day , he will do many things.....

anyway ,
thanks

peace.

Because he's not dead, that's why. Correction, by the way: HE IS THE SON OF GOD, NOT A PROPHET.
And what do you mean by "there isn't enough proof"?
How much proof do you need????? Will you belive when you should be R.I.P but instead you're BURNING IN HELL?

If you believe that Jesus is a good prophet then you should have no problem believing in what He says about Himself " I am the Way , the Truth , and the Life , no man comes to the Father except through me" What do you think this good man means by this?

He's not dead, honey. Really. He himself said that he would rise from the dead and be seated at the right hand of his Father. So, if you believe he was a prophet, why do you choose to disregard this part of his own prophecy?

To me the term R.I.P. is used for people that are dead. To the best of my knowledge and faith Jesus is not dead. He is very much alive.

dear Sol, how are you? I hope you have already overcome your loss regarding your brother.

if you think Jesus is dead, it's really up to you. To all followers of Christ, Jesus Christ is alive. To me He is the Living God. But, I do not need to defend Him, Jesus wants me to obey Him. I will not force you to believe that He's alive.

Asking quite a lot of questions regarding Jesus and His teachings will mean one thing: you have curiosity about Him. That's good. And it will lead to another doors until you find The Light.

Our answers will never satisfy your curiosity. We are only human beings, corrupted by sin, so our answers might have offended you. In our effort to share our greatest joy of having Jesus as our God to you, we have said some thing that's offensive... Please forgive us.

I pray, that one day, you will experience Jesus Himself, that you will see that He is truly the Living God who loves you very much.

God bless you.

Because Jesus demands that we spread the word of his death and Resurrection. To bring the word to the unbelievers. To tell them Jesus was dead and in 3 days he rose again. If you learn this acknowledge this and repent you can be saved.

Please read the Bible. You can find accounts of Jesus death in Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. Plus many other books in the Bible speak of Him They tell of His death AND RESURRECTION ! Jesus isn't dead. He defeated death (the REAL meaning and reason for Easter) rose from the tomb (grave) and later ascended back to heaven. Jesus wants us to seek Him, know His will, learn of Him, the way to salvation, and to pray.
