Now have been told by my close friend that he loves me. After I asked him what are his feelings toward me. well after he told me that he loves me, i asked him why? he never responded. I kept asking him, the last time i asked, he said to just forget that he said it so i can chill out. Well after that he also told me that being that we are long distant, a relationship can't happened. So i asked, so you rather be friends? He said friends. Now he hasn't return any of my phone calls or text messages. and when he does return them, he always says everytime that he is busy and that he will call me back. But he never does. Why is he acting like that if he said that he loves me? And what should i do?

Sounds to me like your male friend is unsure about commitment. You see, he expressed his feelings for you but perhaps you are pressuring him a bit more than he is ready to go for the moment.
Let me tell you something: Women require more emotional attachments than most men do. This means that we love to hear the words of love in our ears. We want to feel his words in our hearts. Men usually commit in other ways. Besides being more PHYSICAL, most males tend to shy away from expressive romanticism.
Sounds like you are chasing him away with your constant questions, girlfriend. Do as he asks. "Chill out" and just let things flow. Be his FRIEND and see what happens. You're making him very VERY nervous with your behavior. Relax!
If it's true, he'll be there for you.

the real question is do you love him and if you do tell him he feels like a dumb **** don't ask him why he likes u why do u like chocolate its just to much 4 him he needs to be told if u care 4 him and give him time men are just as weird as us u know it was a big thing 4 him to tell you how he felt so text him and back off for a while if that does not work text him again and ask if u guys are still friends but back off and give him time . good luck

looks like he's messing with your head girl!!
or you might be freaking him out by being so anxious to know why. He might be freaked out by the whole situation and wants you to forget he said anything.

hon personally i think that he thinks yu dont like him in that way if u do tell him and he will defenitly talk to u then and if he really doesn't then stop worrying so much you'll be all right...

he may have told you he loved you in hopes of doing the nasty. he says he is busy when you call because there may be someone else.

babe, it hurts, i know. he sais one thing and does another. you can keep trying, only to get your heart broken, or you can drop him. just cut him out of your life. but if you decide to do this, remember this, cutting something off hurts and leaves a wound. just dropping him is the hard way, but ither way you choose, he is gone. sorry. I will pray for you, just try to let him go.
