I just want to hear stories... was it justified?

Before I was a police officer: 3 times (for speeding) - received tickets on two of them.

Since becoming a police officer: 1 time (for speeding) - no ticket, but a hell of a lecture.

All were completely justified. I was speeding. I used to speed a lot. Since becoming a police officer, I drive more carefully, but old habits are hard to break.

Yup. Speeding. Yes, it was justified.
Once for a burned out headlight... yes, it was justified... no ticket... just the need to get it fixed...
Once for not having a front license plate... it was justified... but I didn't realize I neede a front license plate, since the body shop (where I got my car fixed after the accident) said I didn't need a front plate... I pled "no lo contendre" at court, and the judge dropped the ticket... the ticket was justified... but I was going on misinformation... I still, of course, had to go and get all new plates.
When I was 19 years old, I stopped to size up a parallel parking space. I got a ticket for impeding the traffic. I guess it was justified. I don't parallel park, now, unless, there's absolutely NO traffic to impede. :-)

Everyone who has ever driven a car had been pulled over for something . It was justified because of things like making a turn as the light was changing from yellow to rea, and running red lights.

Yes for suspected drink driving, they pulled me over and put me in the back of the car asked me lots of questions like where have you been, why are you out so late, is this your vehicle, asked me for my insurance and driving licence then they breth tested me.

I had been drinking Coke at the pictures, not satisfied because they didnt have a positive test on me they decided to start on my car and they couldnt pick anything there either so reluctantly they had to let me go but.......they followed me all the way home which was about 25 miles.

I dont think it was justified because they were picking just to find things, I think they were playing car snooker and my car was a red ball because of its colour, I have a friend who is in the traffic police and its a regular game they play when they are bored.

On my 21st birthday after drinking mega champagne. Oh my gosh was I so lucky. I failed the sobriety test, but told the cop(s) I had a severe ear infection so my equilibrium was off!! Do you think they believed me? Did they just want to look at my ..... ? Maybe it was a joke from my mom? I'd never get away with it now!!

I also told them they didn't have any customer service skills! I drove home and counted my blessings!

about 2 months ago i was on my way at 2:30 am to the sheriff office to pick up a friends daughter and a state highway patrol pulled me over the funny thing is that he was comming towards me and did a u turn i knew he was going to get me but i had no idea why so he follows me for a min then pulls me over and says that he pulled me over because my license plate light is out... and then wants to know where im comming from and where im going and had i been drinking i told him i was home now im on my way to the sheriff office and no i have not been drinking he asked me who i was going to see there and took my license and came back and said have a nice night you can go.. i guess he thought he had himself a drunk driver because of the time and it was a sat night and when he called the sheriff office they told him i was liget lol so he lost lol....

Once, I got pulled over for pulling out in front of a truck in plain sight of a state trooper, but he only gave me a $50 ticket for not wearing a seat belt.

I have been pulled several times, only once I got a ticket, and I disputed it in court. I didn't even have to go in front of the judge, the prosecutor waived it within 10 minutes.
