What you can do is be the person you are, and be more mature than that. This person probably doesn't like you for jealously reasons or their own self insecurities. If you are being nice there is nothing else you can do...don't kill yourself to impress others you cant make someone like you or care for and honestly if they don't want to do that on their own then they aren't worth your time or making you feel bad about yourself. I myself have had to deal with this same predicament I think at some point everyone has, and I know how it feels but ultimately you learn to accept what is and not let it get you down. Hopefully you take this advice to heart, because once you learn to accept that you can't control what others think of you the better off you truly are.
