if you are just at home, an easy way is to go up and down the stairs if you have some.
also, side-stepping back and forth up and down a hallway is really good, alternating how you side step, either way it works your hips and side if you do a really good long step, and also just go back and forth the hallway.
backwards is really good too, for the thighs and low abs, keep stomach tight and back straight.
lunges [**IF YOU KEEP YOUR BACK LEG STRAIGHT, YOU WILL HAVE THE NICEST ASSSS IN THE WORLD**]
jumping rope is one of the easiest, most effective way of doing cardio.
jumping jacks sets of 5 sets of 15..and you'll be dying!

I personally walk at least 30 minutes a day 5 days a week. I like to walk to the store and back instead of drive =) I think when you're listening to mmusic it helps you go farther. There is also a lot of new excercise videos that are awesome and really work up a sweat: Core Rhythms, Slim in 6, Turbo Jam.
But losing weight first starts with being happy with yourself and loving *YOU* on the inside. Try everyday to smile and laugh, LAUGHING is super helpful. It seems weird but it really does help! =) Try to follow a 1600 calorie diet.
It's best to have 5 meals a day that way you don't get to hungry because that leads to over eating.
Here is a couple ideas to help you get started:
Breakfast:
Oatmeal and a piece of wheat toast w/ 2tsp. trans free margarine. -OR- Strawberry Banana Smoothie (In a blender process until smooth, 1 small banana, 1/2 cup strawberries, 1/2 cup fat free milk, 1/2 cup low fat plain yogurt, 2 tsp. honey, and 1 or 2 ice3 cubes. You can have your smoothie with 1 or 2 pieces of whole wheat toast. -OR- An egg on a piece of wheat toast with salsa (make 2 servings) ---If you are still huingry at breakfast have a small piece of fruit.
Lunch:
1 cup soup (water based not cream base) and a Cheese and Tomato Sandwich: 2 slices whole wheat bread, 2 slices reduced fat cheese, mustard and sliced tomato. -OR_ instead of the tomato sandwich 2 pieces whole wheat with 2 slices of Turkey and Mustard. -OR- A Lean Cuisine Frozen Meal (These are actually very tasty. The meat is delicious.
Dinner: 1 piece Chicken Breast with 2 side dishes: 1 cup steamed veggies, 1 sweet potato, 3/4 cup corn, 3/4 cup butternut squash, etc.
Dessert:
Light Ice Cream or Frozen Yogurt:
3/4 cup with no more than 110 calories per 1/2 cup topped with tablespoon chocalate syrup.
Snacks:
Steamed Veggies, fruit, any nuts (these are great protein),
my personal favorite snack is Light and Fit 60 calorie yogurt cup with a 100 calorie Granola Bar. (I cruch up the Granola Bar and put it inside of my yogurt.)
Also there are alot of great ideas if you go to fast food for example....
Wendys: Ultimate Chicken Grill Sandwich- 390 calories
McDonalds:
Caesar Salad grilled Chicken-220 calories
Bacon Ranch Salad w/grilled chicken 260 calories
Salad Dressing: Vinaigrette: 40 calories
Salad Dressing: Italian : 60 calories
Fruit and yogurt Parfait: 160 calories
Chicken McNuggets: (4) 170 cal. (6) 250 cal. (10) 420 cal.
(if you have sauce stay away from Ranch)
KFC:
Original Recipe Chicken Sandwich: (no sauce) 320 calories
Honey BBQ Sandwich: 300 calories
Snacker: 320 calories
Honey BBQ Snacker: 220 calories
Small Mac and Cheese: 180 calories
Small Potato Salad: 180 calories
Small Potatoes and Gravy: 130 calories
Roasted BLT salad: 210 calories
TenderRoast Filet Meal: 360 calories
Lil Bucket Strawberry ShortCake: 200 calories
Burger King:
Chicken Whopper no mayo: 410 calories
Jack N The Box:
Southwest Chicken Pita:230 calories
Chicken Fajita Pita: 300 calories
Beef Taco: 160 calories
Chipotle Chicken Sandwich: 390 calories
Bacon Chicken Sandwich: 440 calories
Carls Jr:
Charbroiled Chicken Sandwich: 370 calories
Taco Bell:
Nacho Chicken Gordita: 270 calories
Nacho Steak Gordita: 270 calories
Taco: 170 calories
Subway :(THE BEST CHOICE)
You can have any of the under 6 grams of fat sandwiches! They're delicious just No MAyo. My favorite is Sweet Onion Chicken Teriyaki. I like to get a foot long and have a 6' for lunch and a 6' for dinner.
This was just some ideas to help you on your way.
Also its great to drink one glass of water before eating. Water is very important! It takes your body 30 minutes to tell your brain you're full so sometimes after you eat a small meal wait 30 minutes to see if you are still hungry or not.
GOOD LUCK!!! I know you can do it!

You need to do BOTH weights and cardio to lose body fat. The reason for this is because the more muscle you have, the more calories you burn with exercise.
You can't specifically eliminate fat from one body part. Unless you get liposuction. And then it will just build up again in the same area because your fat dispersion is genetic.
The only way to remove fat from your butt, face or tummy is to lower your overall bodyfat. Don't let the fast and easy fast sell crowd fool you into wasting your money.
Eat healthy foods, choose the low fat alternatives if you eat things like cheese and milk and avoid things like chips/fries.
Do 2 sessions of weights per week and 3 sessions of cardio exercise. As a rule of thumb when working out, if you feel it's hard work, it probably is. If it's easy, you're slacking off.
You only get in what you get out. If you cheat you only cheat yourself.

You should do cardio first thing in the morning before eating. During the night your body has used up most of the carbs available from the food you ate the day before and will therefore primarily burn fat as an energy source during your workout.
You can find your target heart rate for fat loss and maintain that for 30-45 minutes daily. A quick rule of thumb is to work out hard enough so that you can just be able to carry a conversation but not be too out of breath.
Beyond the science of it, determination and discipline are key. Try to get a partner to walk/jog/etc. with.
Good luck.

Good carbs like celery and carrots will never make you fat. Bad carbs like cake will, but you don't need to know the whole science of glycemic index and load. It is mostly NOT your fault, if you need to lose weight. The way we have been taught to eat is responsible for making obesity the number one health problem in the world (according to Atlantic Monthly magazine) replacing hunger and infectious disease. You need to re-learn how to eat so you can become thin and healthy. Not a diet, but diet lifestyle.
Find out about fastest way to lose weight, gradual ways to lose weight, most effective exercise, good and bad carbs and anti-water. Lose bodyfat and retained water which also makes you a lot fatter (bloated). Links page has gov. BMI calculater to find out just how much overweight you are (teens plug in your age to compare to others your age). Get latest info like American Heart Association does not want you to eat more than 6 ounces daily of meat, fish or poultry. Most important-- make sure to read the last "fat loss tip", first before anything else, to see the number one food that causes Americans to be fat.

Here are tips that have worked for me (I lost 25 pounds, from 195 down to 170, and have kept it off). I eat my biggest meals of the day in the morning and at lunch. Dinner should not be your biggest meal of the day, as you're probably going to plop down on the couch anyway.
I eat more protein and fiber in the daytime, not so much starch. I don't eat things that are high in carbs/sugar/fat. Completely cut out things like pizza, fries, bagels/cream cheese, and so on. No "empty calories". If you eat carbs, make them complex carbs like whole grains. The more refined your food is, the more fat you will gain. Drink more water, eat fruit and veggies. Beans are excellent, as long as there's no lard in them.
Read up on "glycemic index" (google it) and use it as a guideline.
