My friend is ill (not with diabetes) and has been put on a no-sugar diet. Is cane juice okay?

Cane juice is still sugar, just in a liquid form.
It is less refined, but deep down it is still sugar.

Cane juice is very sweet, has a high sugar content, and so is probably not the best thing for your friend to be eating. It would probably be better to eat fruits such as grapes, oranges, apples, pears, and bananas. The amount of sugar they contain is not excessive.

if the diet says no sugar for whatever reason, then cane juice is definitely out,it would only mean taking sugar in another form.
