The Catholic Church teaches that there are three states of being after death. The first is known as heaven, which is a state of union with God. This is merited for us by Jesus and offered to us through Baptism, but we still must make amends for the wrongs we have done, which leads to the second state. Purgatory is a state of purification where those who have died with minor sins on their soul atone for these sins and become purified before entering heaven. They are destined for heaven and will enter at some point known only to the soul and God. The third state is an eternal separation from God, which is known as hell. The Church teaches that those people who willingly disobey God and choose not to repent of their sins are the ones who enter that state. They are lost forever and do not have another chance to repent.

You first have to question what dies... Does the Self die?? and what is the Self...? Also, it's not a question of accepting jesus, its about what makes sense logically... As a Buddhist, reincarnation is my belief, not because i accept it, but because it makes sense logically... Karma = action/reaction, and it makes makes logical sense... every moment to moment is karma then.. such is day to day...
Now with Self, how do we exist, first, we know that everything is particles and vibrations constantly changing, everywhere in this universe... even in our body now, things are dying and being reborn, what do you think cells do, or what dead skin is? so these particles are dying, and being eaten and turning into something new... The mind though is something different..
From what i know, the mind is comprised of the 5 aggregates: Form, Feeling, Discrimination, Compositional Factors, and Consciousness... to me, each of these is like the physical particle, constantly changing... My understanding is that self is just and illusion, we do exist, but not in the solid form and mind that we appear to have, because of all the factors both are dependent on.. basically, we can't exist without dependence to all factors..Check up on this..
I do think that when we die, our final mental thoughts will project this "self" into its next form and of existence.. this is why Buddhists train so hard with the concept of death.. so that when it comes, the won't be afraid, but see it in a glorious thing...hope this helps, cheers!

The soul will leave the body and go to be with the Lord
To be assent from the body is to be present with the Lord.
We are a spiritual being, living in a body, the body will return to dust, from where it came.
What some don't get is that this earthly body that we see is not the real us, it's the soul
The soul is immortal and will never die

I think that...we go around and play pranks on people who are still alive! LOL that'd be so fun! just the way those ghost mess with us 'alive' all the time! lol...I really don't know what to believe, but there's gotta be something more after this life...it cannot just end here. God is so much more than that. Sorry, we are spiritual beings and there's gotta be a LOT more than what we let ourselves imagine. I'm not calling it Heaven, because I don't know how it looks like or what it is. What do you think??

the angel of death comes to you. if your good he comes in a good form(like a handsom man) if bad then he comes as a very scary man. you go to your grave and r asked 3 questions 1. who is ur lord 2. what is your religion and 3. who is your prophet if your a muslim(a good one that is) you will automatically answer them correct which is allah, islam and prophet muhammad. then after that you will be asked some other questions such as what did u spent ur life doing. where did u spent ur wealth. where did u get if from etc...... then you will be treated with either harshness or the window to heaven will open for u and u will rest in peace until the day of judgement. then when it comes u will be judged and ur deeds will be weighted and then you will either go to heaven or hell. and death it self will die and their will be no such thing as death. where you go is where you stay. hope you understand it.

You go to the grave, just like Jesus. There you stay, just like him, until the first or second resurrection. If you die and just go to heaven means you are better than Jesus. Yes, if you are not cremate, than the body rots.

I know all the DMT releases in your brain on death.
DMT is most active in a fetus for the first 50 days of birth in the womb.
Thus saying it kind of opens and closes doors.
The only time this is also active is in a child upto age 8ish, thus would explain why people have felt kids being clairvoyant.
Area in the government know this and practice this for various applications but arn't tell you.

Well, I believe you either go to heaven, hell, or purgatory... I think very few people end up going to hell... only murders and people who don't respect life and child abusers and rapists. I like to think of purgatory as like therapy. You go there and work out all your issues and repent for your sins more or less and eventually get to heaven. If one lives exceptionally well or goes through much suffering on earth I think they go straight to heaven.... But I'm still working on my beliefs... born and raised protestant and converting to Catholicism...

The one thing we all know for sure is that we go into the ground and rot. The rest is just speculation.
I tend to believe in reincarnation, it's what makes sense to me.

When you die you spirit leaves your body and goes to paradise. If you are really sinful it goes to spirit prison. After the judgment, you are consigned to the level of Heaven you belong in.
