Do Atheists consider the points that Christians make as valid?
Do Christians consider the point of the Atheist as valid?

I just used the A's & C's as an example....but this would apply to all people who are spiritually inclined.

Of course, whoever is open minded is tolerant. Mostly all religions encourage tolerance towards those who are not theirs, but few people actually practice it.

The problem is that the idea that they have that those people will perish and are sinful creates a barrier. They tend to look at disbelievers and other religious people as inferior as they won't be saved.

Many atheists do not respect and tolerate theists. They too take believers for inferior beings.

People who are more into mysticism are more tolerant. Note that mostly all religions have a meditation/mysticism part, like in islam there is sufism. Hinduism have many mystics n meditations, buddhism is all about it.

I find these type of people more tolerant. But of course there exists exceptions like myself, i'm agnostic but I do not look down at people.

Definitely neither. It would be impossible for an atheist to believe or at least think that the Christian way was valid and true, or else they wouldn't be an atheist. Nor could a Christian say it is valid or true that atheists are correct, because then they couldn't be a Christian.

Wiccan seems to be extremely open minded, atheist as well. I think Hindu is also very open, in thinking that all roads lead to the same destination.

I would think that people who are in the religious minority are more more open minded and tolerant just to survive. Traditionally, Pagans are very tolerant, as they usually would adopt new Gods and customs as times changes. The issue with Christianity was that it was so separate and new, the Romans didn't know how to react to it. Monotheism can be rather intolerant, and it has issues with the "I am right so you are wrong" mentality. At least with Atheism, they think that all religion is equally wrong!

No point an atheist makes concerning God is valid.

Some points atheists make about computer software and the best pizza in town are valid.

i never figured religion as such a thing.. i always find it's the individual.

i find very many closed minded individuals in all religions and vise versa.. very open minded individuals in all religions.

i don't think it's the religion thing.. i think it's selective.. because i know some xtians who are open to most things then there's another group who isn't and wish to impose themselves to the things they decide aren't proper and should be considered wrong and made illegal or such.

i even know some buddhists who are like that... even some atheists...

it depends i think not on the religion but the people and what they do with it.

i think religion is just an excuse for their ignorance.

The least tolerant are Christians. The most tolerant: Pagans and Buddhists.

As an atheist, I'd have to agree with the first poster too. Buddhists as a group are more tolerant than Atheists, bless our dark little hearts. I think a lot of us came from christian backgrounds and have a lot of emotional issues associated with god discussions. Buddhists are just very zen and live-n-let-live about it.

The religion that is most considerate of other views is Buddhism.

P.S. Atheism is not a religion. The word atheist means non-theist, or non-believer in the notion of a god or gods.

I have found Paganism to be the most considerate and accepting of religions.

Actually, each believes their way is the only way, so there is no room for tolerance, however some of today's religions are much more violent to those who don't agree with them than others. Those who follow the original Bible are the most loving.
