This whole subject bugs me a little, I think first you have to answer this question why do want to lose weight, to look better, to feel better, to be in better health or is someone pressuring you into wanting to lose weight? Once you have answered that question you need evaluate you diet and make small achievable goals or you will go back to old ways of eating and exercising. Maybe, only drink water 4 days a week. Or eliminate soda altogether.

first find a support group or if you cant find that get a freind to join you and things will be much easier. next it should be less than 2000 calories or at that generally speaking. exercise, don't look for the easy way through everything, park further from the store, give yourself a 30 min. slot during the day to walk/jog/run it really depends on the shape you are in to begin with. make sure you warm up and stretch out before you attempt exercise. hope that helps:)

and change the foods you are ingesting.

fresh fruits and veggies are a real good start.

a blood panel for your cholesterol, triglycerides would be helpful also.

increase water consumption, fresh juice also...
take the stairs.. walk, walk, walk.

yoga also helps with many things too.. would be a good idea to check into that... it also will help you physically, mentally and to keep you limber during the diet regiment... and slim you down.

no FAD diets! no atkins! no hollywood diet.. no weight watchers... no slim FAST!

don't go for the glitter.. go for the life long plan by the way.

or you'll get fatter.

talk to a doc also... they'll help in so many ways also just in case the weight isn't just caused by a bad diet or lack of activity.

If you are serious about losing weight, the calories in the food you eat should be less than the energy you use. You will have to increase your metabolic rate , and plan your diet carefully. Formulate your own weight loss plan and you will lose weight faster. More details available at http://tinyurl.com/m7ckx
