Nope, let him come to you when he's ready.
Depends too why he's not talking to you at school.
Some guys are just shy and thats ok.
On the other hand, if he feels you aren't "good enough" for him to be seen talking to at school... MOVE ON.
Just be friends for now and see where it leads. This might be all he's interested in and if thats the case, you have to decide if it's enough for you. Living in the real world is always better than the computer fantasy anyway!

That is awesome that you have liked each other so long, now you can grow to something more, hopefully. Try not to be too bold plan something where you can get together and let him know without saying anything. Flirt, sit close, stare into his eyes for a long time. I would let him make his move first, it will make both of you feel better and him like the man.

OMG...this is ridiculous. A man that converses only on the computer sounds like a stalker to me. But maybe he's just a little shy - in which case I would say make the first move, approach him and don't worry about what he will say. If he is that shy as to not talk to you when YOU approach him, move on, he's a nerd.

It depends - if you value the friendship you have then don't because if it's rejected you will feel crushed and things will be awkward. However if you are really interested in things moving beyone chat then suggest something small like 'hey wanna go for coffee?' and if it's put down then just drop it, and if it's accepted go from there. Good luck!!!

It could be one of two things, he could be shy and only feel less intimidated online, or (and this is unfortunately mean) he could be embarrassed to be seen with you.
If he seems like the shy type, then go for it. Otherwise you may just end up being hurt in the end.

just give him a little hint and see what he does.. or try asking him why is he only talking to you in the computer? but you should'nt give high hopes about it, but just go w/ the flow and see what will happen next, cos it's very difficult to know people's motive.. because things are not always what they seems to be..

Doesn't hurt to "accidently" bump into him in the hall and say hi, does it? What's the worst thing that could happen. Put yourself out there and see how it goes.

do you try to talk to him at school? if you do and he doesn't really talk back then maybe you should just wait and build up the "outside the computer" relationship and then see how you feel.

It makes me wonder why he doesn't talk to you at school. Geeee I would wanna say, "I'm only good enough to talk to on the computer or something?"
