1. If it is about civil engineering then it would be to finish getting my bachelors faster rather than go to school and pursue a dead end relationship during my college years.

2. I've noticed that civil engineering jobs are becoming more and more strict in terms of allowing people to practice in the field. If you only have an associates, you might not even get a job in civil engineering. Perhaps only as a drafter or something similar and the pay will not even be close to an entry level civil engineering position.

3. After college, 4 years to become a Professional Engineer (PE).

1. Who I married.

2. You can expect an entry level job doing drafting, testing or surveying(rodman).

3. Five years out of college and a PE.

If you are only going to get an associates degree, then make sure you get it in a tech area. If you get it in actual engineering, you will have a bunch of math and physics and may as well go on and get your Bachelors.
