Study, but don't just review your notes,.... do EXTRA research on the subject matter, so that you get a fuller understanding.
Ask yourself: How would I teach this lesson to students to help them understand?
And then the usual: go to all classes, get good sleep and study habits, complete and turn in all assignments on time, if you don't understand the assignment, Don't Guess!, ask for further clarification. Join study groups with serious friends or attend tutorials with the teachers,.....

1. Pay more attention in class and actually do the work you're assigned.
2. Get a tutor to help you through everything you don't understand.
3. Ask questions if you're not sure about what you're learning.
4. If you care to, do some revision and study in your own time to make sure you remember what you've learned in class.
5. Get lots of sleep before the test, rather than cramming everything you should have learned the night before.
6. Keep cool in tests and exams- they're just a measure of how much you can apply your knowledge.
7. Peppermint! Peppermint is a brain stimulant, so sneak some in during a test and, the theory goes, you can think better!
8. Healthy diet. Not quite sure how this one works.
9. Cheat. Not advisable.
10. Make sure you go over your answers in tests so you don't make silly mistakes.
Oh, and studying is very broad. It doesn't mean sitting down with a book and memorising, it can mean note-taking, highlighting, picking out key words, memory triggers (associations, images, things that you can recall easier than chunks of words)... Maybe even studying with a friend if you think you're responsible enough to actually do the studying.

Make you own flash cards. I use3x4 or 4x6 depending on complexity of the subject. It helps you to digest each idea or chapter and leaves you with a revue when the time comes. For languages I used sticky notes and put that language words around the house with my new vocabulary. (I think I can say light switch in 11 languages!) It even helped me in chem & micro. All best wishes;)

Learning. Or, you could enroll into a special school and get excellent grades there with no effort at all. Bet you haven't heard that one before.
