Unbelievable how totally blind the EGO makes us!

Everyone believes they are right, otherwise they would not believe in what they do. And then, by default, they believe everyone who disagrees with them is wrong, fostering an "I'm right, you're wrong" attitude.

I have been replying many such questions today.
The atheists (most of them) think of themselves as superior beings as they do not NEED a saviour or an "outdated" "myth" to be stable and strong in life. Thus they see others who NEED that as inferior to them and look down at them.
I know many pagans as well who are victims of the ego traps. Their superiority feeling is that their practice is better than others...

I'm an atheist, and I don't have an ego complex (at least because of the atheism; I have an ego complex because I'm a paramedic!)
I firmly believe that everyone needs to find their own path through life. There's nothing superior or inferior associated with any path, it's simply the right one for you. Anyone who thinks otherwise needs a reality check.

Great question. Atheists, theists, pagans, millenarian hedonists, JW's Jews, Moslems, Morris dancers are all the same - they all come from the same flawed mold of humanity. Lets work together to enhance the life on eath of all creatures great and small...

listen....all religions do it. it's somethin you gotta deal with. and it will never stop, because if the athiests stop, but the christians keep doin it, then the athiests will start again. it will never stop. basically we need to all put up with it. i would rather see it stop, but that's unrealistic. everyone always thinks tht what they are willin to die for everyone else should.
