I like this guy a lot and I want to date him..he on the other hand does not know how he feels about me..what should i do?

You should forget about him and find someone better. If he is saying he doesn't know how he feels, it could be just a polite way of saying that he doesn't want to date you or he likes someone else. I don't mean to be hard on you, but if a guy wants something, they are usually tripping over their tongues to get it. Just be his friend and don't put any pressure on him. Act like you only want to be his friend. If it's meant to be, then it will happen.

Yeah, he knows how he feels, or doesn't feel. He just doesn't want to look like a jerk for hurting your feelings.
Look, lack of conviction means it really isn't there. Look for someone who is more truthful.
