Gift cards are a no brainer. What brand names can I get? When things are said and done I have a budget of 2 or 3 hundred dollars.

A good perfume, like eternity or escada.
Include a gift receipt, just in case. or.... a mother/ daughter spa day.

Buy her a small inexpensive wallet or purse so you have something to wrap, get her gift certificates to Sephora for makeup and perfume, a gas gift card for emergencies, If she enjoyes reading a gift card to Barnes and Noble or Borders, If she likes coffee a starbucks gift card. If she has an I Pod a gift card from the store so she can download music. etc. Suit the cards to your daughter.

Money is always nice with a thoughtful card, but not really too personal. A really nice piece of jewelry is great, in white gold or yellow gold, so much to choose from these days. And an expensive watch is even nicer.

If she is into dressing up then maybe she might like gift card's from Abercrombie, Express or Gap Stores...
Or maybe purses that are in style like:
Coach, Guess or Boho oversize purses!
If she's not into the dressy stuff then she might like music and you can then get her an Ipod, Mp3 or a Flat Screen Tv for her room... With a generous mother like you I bet she'd like anything you get her!
Good Luck,

yes perfume is a safe bet if you know the kind she likes. Also you can get her a gift certificate for a nice spa day and she can unwind and be pampered .

perfume is a nice idea. What kinds of hobbies does she have ?
you could get her something for a hobby or interest of hers. Another good idea is a gift certificate to her favorite restaurant. a picture frame or household item that she needs is good too.

YOU KNOW I HATE TO SPOIL PRESENT GIVING, BUT HERE IS HOW IT GOES. FIRST U DONT KNOW WHAT SHE'd like, then you have to waste gas to go find that one special gift they arent going to like,. shopping for others sucks and it can be stressful, so here is an idea: gift cards and no they are not tacky. let them get themselves something nice. sure takes the pressure off.

Target has a GREAT sale of Friends, Gilmore Girls, Smallville, Charmed season DVD's. They are $14.99. Is she a fan of any of those shows? I just scored season 2 and 3 of Smallville for my son.
