What can we do to end all animosity between all walks of faiths? How can we learn to be nice to each other and not try to force beliefs on others? Can't execpt them as different? Doesn't God want us all to get along?

How can we judge our religion or faith as the only right one. It maybe be right for u it maybe not be right for me. So can't we listen before we rush to judgement about others? Anyway we're not suppose to Judge.

I agree! I'm always confused when someone tries to do that... T_T It just, besides being offensive when one tries to force religious beliefs on another, doesn't make sense. For me, that's something i think is so COOL, is how we all have different beliefs and yet we can be friends! :D

To end animosity, we can only do our own part: Seek God's help in ridding ourselves of animosity. We cannot control what other people do, and so the only solution is to BE the solution oneself. Period.

To learn to be nice to each other, we can, again, seek God's help ourselves in ridding ourselves of that which blocks us from being kind.

Yes, we can accept others as different. Meaning a person can do this work of accepting others him- or herself.

God does not exactly want us all to get along. God would like it if we could act out of love, but he doesn't want us to coddle or encourage those who seek false gods and spread lies about God.

We can't judge our religion or faith as the only right one. God, however, came to earth 2,006 years ago and told us exactly who he was. That is, God told us what was right. We can either accept him or not. But I, for one, won't go around proclaiming that any faith in anyone who is not God is "all good," because it isn't.

What is right for me is right for you and is right for everyone else. If a human told me it was right, I wouldn't say this. But God told me it was right--and I would think that he knows, eh?

So, the key is to discern between truth and falsehood, but not pass judgment on people's souls. We can believe that someone is telling a falsehood while not judging their soul. It is God's job to judge their soul. It is my job to speak the truth, and to deny that which is false.

You are right but God did give us the authority to judge right from wrong. All walks of faith are not the same we have the muslims who proclaim Mohammed was the son of God, Budha worshippers, catholics, free masons, Atheists, catholics, and then the real christians, Now how are these people supposed to get along without a finger at each other.

Two statements that contradict can't both be true. We can understand the other religions and learn to respect them even though they may be wrong in their thinking. The animosity between faiths is really overrated in most cases.

I don't believe we can- the Bible states that there will always be wars and rumours of wars; Yes we're all different but God wants us to all believe in him. He does also want us to get along but he also gave us the gift of free choice, and God knows that people will make some bizarre free choices! The problem arises when there are so many definitions of God- there is only one and that is the holy Trinity. Since it is understandably difficult to believe wholeheartedly in someone we cannot see, many cannot accept that a God who died for our sins is the one true God.

Praise be the King, Lord Jesus Christ.

We are to love each other and not to judge,

in saying that,

I will not water down the Bible to compromise to agree with different beliefs, I will respect others and give them the time of day.

I don't force my beliefs I answer questions that people have posted and I try not to answer them when someone has specifically asked for a belief that is not mine.

Healthy debate as I have mentioned before is VERY healthy

One of the first things would probably be to try to find some common ground, even if it is only one thing. both parties have to be committed to getting along and loving each other as people. If for example one person believes in a higher power/god/goddess, and the other perosn is an athesist; both people can get along. A common ground could be both individuals believe in living life to the fullest. LIke agreeing to disagreeing. instead of focusing on the negative focus on what they can agree on.

In the NHSP, all people are taught and encouraged not to be critical of others paths. The Creator has set many paths to him throughout the people. Because there are so many different people who learn differently and have different needs for structure and growth as people, there are many paths for one to walk as we answer the Creator's call.

Through study of the Bible and the quran, etc, it is noticable that there are specific notations in each where followers are admonished not to cast judgement on others, for ultimately, it is not theirs to judge, but only that of the Creators. SOme people, after changing meanings of words and terms, or choosing to not accept those parts which they disagree with, will work to find statements in these books they say support criticism and hatred.
These are people who truly have not accepted the path and the Creator as the authority but choose to place themselves into a position of importance by being "special" in their ways to "interpret" the words.

it is sad when people choose to manipulate the Creators ways into methods of power for themselves. it shows how truly lost these people can be.

Be Well and keep to the truth of the Creators ways in the path you have been called to follow, you will find your way.

You are right. It is evil and against the beliefs of all religions to judge others. If we followed the Golden Rule: Treat others as you would want to be treated, the world would be a better place.

An age old question.... that many wish they had an answer to. Yes, God wants us to get along, and Commands it in the Bible. I guess it isn't judging as much as it is convincing. I think a lot of Christians get frustrated about telling people about Jesus, because people ask questions that we don't have the answers for. That is when I think "forcing" becomes an issue because we stick to what we know/believe.

The first thing is for everyone to stop trying to brainwash and paint false things.

You WILL take note that Buddhists and Hindus and Shiks don't play games here, hence NO ONE takes THEM to task!

The don't try and undermine Atheists, or Christians or Jews or Muslims.

In fact, recently EVEYRONE here wished Hindus a happy Festival of Lights.

No one tried to take it apart.

No Hindu tried to push their system on anyone or tell them because they didn't beleive or participate they were wrong.

Now, who does all these things?

Muslims, Christians and Atheists.

All THREE are the BIG OFFENDERS.
