My back is in extreme pain and i use ben gay and bio freeze on it to no avail. does anyone know of anything else that might help me??

the topical stuff only covers the pain- it doesn't make the back get better. advil 2-3 tabs 4times a day may help and heat such as heating pad or Thermacare- massage therapy also helps a lot of people

Nyal tooth drops available from a chemist or Oil of Cloves (tastes bad) will help but you should fork out the money & go to a dentist. Some will give you a free checkup. Fiorinal Dental tablets may work better than what you have tried.

Besides a chiropractor, and massage, I get most benefit from a "pain patch" which I buy at the drug store. There are pain patches that use menthol and pain patches that use capsaicin, take your pick. These are the same medicines that are in topical creams, but they work much better with the patch. You stick it on the painful spot. Cut it to fit if you want to.

I dont know., but a good chiro adjutment might help you out. i had back pain for a long time. finally went to a chiro and my back is doing pretty well. good luck
