My name is Melanie. When I lived in Mexico my family called me Melania; my friends called me Melanie but of course pronounced it with a Spanish accent.

In Spanish class my name was always something like Mariana, Marta, etc.

If you are looking for a name for class then you could go with Catalina or something that starts with a K sound. If you are looking to adapt Kim to something that sounds Spanish then I think that Kimita sounds best. It is like saying Kimmie. When you add -ita to a word it makes it smaller. So chica becomes chiquita... and you have little bananas lol.

Do not end it in an o because you are a girl. To me Kimcita just does not sound as natural as Kimita. I like Kimita. Go with it!
