As a referee for the BCA Pool League, I'm also a stickler for playing by the rules. This is just another reason why I don't bother playing pool-based computer games. It's fun for a lot of people, but it spreads a lot of disinformation about the way pool is really played. More people are familiar with various "house rules" than BCA world standardized rules. I can't tell you how many people give me funny looks when my friends and I play professional rules in a bar. Happy Shooting. M.D.-BCA Instructor/Referee.
