I know it's a stupid tattoo and my website is not worth you time. The picture is here http://home.earthlink.net/~ksthis08/id2.html and it's the lower left-hand one. It's two music notes crossed. I Want to change it without taking up anymore of my forearm than I have to. Any ideas?

that really isn't stupid. MY tattoo that got covered was stupid (psychadelic mushroom)
since your tattoo is black, whatever covers that part will have to be black which would make it be fairly large. the best bet would be to find a great artist and take it to them. tell them things you like and don't like and let them come up with an idea for a good coverup. they know best what works and what doesn't.
my profile picture is my coverup. the mushroom was only about two square inches but as you see, the tattoo is huge... but i wanted it big and beautiful. but you'd never know i had another tattoo under lenny (lenny is the name of my koi)

Well since it is dark in color you are going to have to get another tattoo that is dark in color as well. Other wise you will have to get it lightened before getting a cover-up tat done.Keep in mind that you are wanting a cover-up because you don't like the tattoo you have, so when you get the cover-up make sure it is something you really really want! Otherwise you will be in the same situation you are in now. What types of styles are you into? Maybe a dark blue rose, a scorpion, a small/medium size black panther. You have more options are far as what coverup tattoo you can get but you are limited as far as colors go unless you get the tattoo lightned.
What I would do is go to your local tattoo show them the tattoo you currently have and are wanting a cover-up. Let them know about what size you want the cover up to be. Ask them for their best suggestions that they can do. They will NOT do a cover-up that won't look good when it's done.

the easiest thing would be a pinup girl, strategically placed. you can cover that with a coy fish, skull and crossbones, tiger in a tree, you could even weave it into a classic "mom" tattoo. if you have any more questions, feel free to call my uncle michael, he's a tattoo artist in vegas (he's freakin amazing) at 702.810.0940. good luck

thats a hard one.....was thinking cartoon character....using the dots as eyes and then put eye balls in them but couldn't think of body below it.
could fill in the 2 dots more to make it more like a womans back side and then change the top of the notes so they resemble feet or shoes more and could resemble the lower back side of a woman walking and maybe add a females name below the so called feet?
maybe best bet would be to hit up a tat shop and lay some designs over it to see what you can come up with.

Whoo, that's ugly.
I suggest you see a tattoo artist and see what they think. Go to a really good one. It really doesn't look like the person that did yours was all that great.

I would add halos to the tops of the heads and wings on their backs.
The notes actually look like a girl and guy having a serious romantic session in my view, except the boy missed a bit....lol.

you could get wings attached to it, or flames, or get rid of the dots and just have a heart and then put someone/something you love inside it. I think it's pretty.

yeah, I deff think a pin-up girl would be the best bet here....or cat woman, since it's a black tatt. if you go with the pin-up girl, she should have long flowy hair cascading down a bit to show she is kinda laying upside down. this is a hard one to cover! :/
