We need immigrants like the U.S. needs another Bush.
Here's my main point. So far Bush has done a decent job for us.
Bad but pretty decent, right? Like it's not like Korea implanted some chemical detonation device into our water system... yet...
Anyways...
Immigrants are like a Bush. We can't survive without him or with him.
Immigrants do the dirty jobs that we Americans find unusual, or unheard of, or disgusting or whatever. Immigrants take those jobs and work for minimum wage or less. Which means that some Americans are jobless and unemployed (because these immigrants take the jobs that maybe a homeless would desperately want). Positive side to this is they are helping us live the life we are now. Negatvie side to this is the more they trespass into the U.S., the greater our unemployment rate will increase. Right now, our unemployment rate is 4.6% or 4.7%. In 1992, Clinton was president and the unemployment rate was a 7.6%, much worse. But it probably wasn't Clinton's fault. It was maybe Bush Sr. before Clinton. Or maybe Clinton was a bad president.
That's all.
^And all this coming from a ninth grader in high school HAHA.

Hey, they are here because they want a better life than what they had in their home countries. Giving them the chance to do that is what built America into the greatest countries on Earth.
Either you or your ancestors decided to risk everything an move to America. Why? For freedom? To escape war? How about a chance to become something better? Are you going to fault them for their desire for a better life?
Why not look at the positive aspects of illegal immigration? There are thousands of jobs that Americans don't want to do but society demands that the jobs are done. I don't care if it's working in a slaughter house / meat packing plant, picking strawberries, collecting trash or bussing tables; somebody has to do it-too bad there are no Americans who want those jobs. The illega immigrants fill the labor force and eventually move on to better jobs and citizenship leaving a void which can only be filled by other illegal immigrants.

First you do not know what you are talking about. You are being racist.
Second your family were one time immigrants
Third we do have limits on Legal immigration
I am not trying to make you mad just give you some facts. What we need to curb are the illegals. And not just the ones you are ...shall i say Hinting at...You should know that we have a much bigger problem with people from all nations using our own rules to get here via student visas....
And one more thing This Is The Land Of The Free. And of Opportunity..so please choose your words and feelings more carefully

I understand, there has to be a limit. But at the same time you have to think every generation here was once an immigrant. Why do we act like we own this country? There should be laws and rules just to prevent over crowding. That goes for the people who already live here to. Remember this is not our land, but yet we claim it.

I believe that they provide a necessary labor source, but, at the same time they should be screened for criminal backgrounds. Especially here in California, we seem to be a haven for illegal immigrants who are also hardcore criminals.

We don't need them, but if we turn anyone down from coming here we will have bigger problems than we do now........
I think we shouldn't let them become residents but just come for a visit and that is it!

We need to modify our immigration policies to balance our population, taking into consideration birthrates, I agree.

That's why we need them, so we won't suffer a population shortage like Russia, Germany, France & some of the other industrial nations. that can be very problematic. (look it up, I don't really like to give long, winded answers).
