my 4 yr old has been fighting with this for 3 weeks now, and i have treated him with medicated shampoo and i am being told not to do it again for 4 weeks b/c it can cause seizers, so are there any other methods?? I have cleaned and bagged and done everything that i am suppose to do but i just can't seem to get them to go away,please help!

they have found that lice are building a resistance to the shampoo and the school where my granddaughter goes to recommend putting hair conditioner on and leaving it on for at least half an hour. Do this every 2 days and use a lice comb after. Wipe the comb on a paper towel and you can see if there is any nits coming off. the conditioner stops the nits from sticking to the hair. Hope this helps The conditioner will not hurt your son and my granddaughter has really nice hair now.

Every night go thru his hair 1/8 inch at a time and pick out the eggs. Use a very bright light so you can see them. Sometimes it helps for the hair to be wet. Then check your drug stores because their are some organic treatments. I think its called RID pure alternative but check and make sure.

I heard on the radio you can use the hair dryer to dry up the lice and the eggs.

my daughter had them once . we used Rid . worked great and after that we used a shampoo that contained coal tar. I think it was tegrin worked great.
